Mionix Launches Two New Mousepad Ranges Built with S.Q.A.T. Technology
Mionix, the Swedish manufacturer of professional high-end gaming accessories today unveiled the new SARGAS and ENSIS range of high performance gaming mousepads developed with their own Surface Quality Analyser Tool (S.Q.A.T).
S.Q.A.T explained
The Surface Quality Analyser Tool is built into the Mionix NAOS 5000 gaming mouse and measures the data loss between images of the surface taken by the mouse sensor. This information is translated in to a rating between 1 and 10, where a low number represents a higher data loss and a higher number represents a lower data loss between the surface and the mouse sensor. Mousepads rated 8/10 or above will provide no loss of tracking* and improved accuracy.

Mionix Readies New Illuminated Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, the Mionix Zibal 60
Gaming peripherals expert Mionix is giving final touches to its latest offering to professional gamers, the Mionix Zibal 60 mechanical keyboard. The Zibal 60, we're hearing, is going to be a high-end mechanical keyboard designed for gamers. Unlike many mechanical keyboards that offer little more than the standard keyset, Zibal will offer backlit illumination for each key. Each key will be backed by a Black Cherry MX illuminated mechanical switches, which are known to provide good tactile feedback at low noise. Further, the keyboard will be plug and play, not needing additional driver software. Mechanical keyboards are favored to provide high durability and tactile feedback compared to common membrane type keyboards. For now there's just a sneak peak image of the business-end of the keyboard. The Mionix Zibal 60 mechanical keyboard will launch in six days from now.

Mionix, manufacturer of professional high-end gaming gear today announced their new gaming mousepad Mionix Sargas, an uncoated gaming mousepad with a unique micro fibre technology that gives more control over the movements without compromising tracking performance. The Mionix Sargas is made of a durable cloth material with slightly more friction than coated mousepads.
