Prolimatech introduced the Black Series variant of its MK-26 GPU heatsink that went on sale last September. The variant features matte black anodized aluminum fins, while retaining the chrome finished nickel-plated copper heat pipes that produce a nice contrast. Designed to handle thermal loads as high as 320W, the MK-26 is a dual aluminum fin-stack heatsink, which uses six heat pipes to convey heat from a nickel-plated copper block. A pair of 140 mm fans (not included) can be attached to the heatsink. individual heatsinks for memory and VRM components are included; as are thermal pads and a tube of TIM. Prolimatech updated the GPU compatibility list of the MK-26 to include the recently launched GeForce GTX TITAN. The company did not release pricing or availability details.

Prolimatech Megahalems may rank among the best CPU air coolers, but starts at a relatively high $70. The company unveiled new cost-effective variants, under the Megahalems Basic line. The Megahalems Basic-81 maintains the same dimensions as the original, with the same number of fins, except the 81 expensive aluminum fins (across both stacks) are replaced by stainless steel ones. The heat pipes and base are still made of copper, with the base even being given a mirror finish. The Basic-81 is priced at just $32.

Next up is the Basic-45, a compact aluminum fin tower heatsink that uses 45 fins to which heat is conveyed by four 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes, which draw heat from a copper base. The cooler ships "no-frills," with just the retention kit. You add your own fan. It's priced at just $14. It looks like Prolimatech finally got around to launching its blue Megahalems Rev. B. Pictured below are two new variants of the company's iconic product, decked in a deeper shade of blue than we saw last Computex, topped off with matte-black top-fins. Prolimatech rolled out the PT14015, a 140 mm fan with a focus on achieving a good airflow-to-noise ratio. The 140 mm spinner is just 15 mm thick, features a 120 mm mount-hole spacing, and uses a 17-blade impeller. The fan is designed to give heavy CPU air-coolers maximum memory area clearance. Prolimatech announced a unique new accessory that makes it easier to attach fans to metal cases, at least those made of steel (and not aluminum). The Magnetic Pin is a conventional rubber fan bolt with a magnet on its head. This allows fans with four of these to snap onto cases' fan frames. The magnet is embedded into a rubber cavity, which dampens vibrations between the fan and the case, minimizing noise. Prolimatech is selling these pins in sets of four. The company did not mention pricing.

B, a cool-blue finish in its new variant. This is almost exactly the same shade of blue as the one Gigabyte uses on its motherboards (refer to the third picture below). Most of the cooler's 88 stainless steel fins are blue, with the top fins on each of the two stacks retaining a chrome finish. The six 6 mm-thick heat pipes passing through them are made of nickel-plated copper, while most metal parts of the retention modules are colored black. Prolimatech, the master of cooling is going a step further after the success of the Prolimatech Megahalems by presenting another revolution in CPU cooling with the limited edition Prolimatech Black Series Genesis. Besides the immaculate quality - which is present across their entire product line-up - the Black Genesis sets new standards in cooling capability and cool looks.

Prolimatech continues the trend set by the Megahalems and Super Mega by utilising two separate towers, but instead of placing them next to each other, they have been rearranged for maximum performance. The large array of cooling fins can hold up to three 120 or 140 mm fans, two of which can be installed right out of the box with the included mounting materials. Besides keeping the CPU cool, the construction allows for direct air flow across critical areas like the memory and power phases of the system.

Among the sea of tower-type CPU coolers which are the same old tripe packaged and colored differently, few companies are actually investing in innovation, one of them is Prolimatech. The company is working on two new yet-unnamed CPU coolers specifically designed for socket LGA2011 motherboards, one has already taken shape, the other is still in its CGI form.

The first one (first two images below), appears to be an leaner, fitter evolution of the Prolimatech Genesis. While the Genesis uses a dual-independent fin-stack design in which one stack propagates perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard while the other propagates parallel to the plane, on this new design, both stacks propagate parallel to the plane, in opposite directions, and both being dissimilar in size.

Cooling specialist Prolimatech is expanding their diverse line-up of coolers further after the successful Panther launch. Their latest CPU cooler by the name Lynx aims to take the entry level by storm, offering excellent compatibility and bundling a 120 mm PWM equipped fan right out of the box.

The manufacturer Prolimatech is known for high performance and silent cooling solutions like the Megahalems, Armageddon and Genesis. Their newest unit is incredibly compact and intended to appease the budget user. Called Prolimatech Lynx, it delivers the most cooling possible combined with a size that ensures maximum compatibility.

The Product range of Prolimatech consists of award winning offerings. The Megahalems, Genesis, MK-13 or PK-1 - all managed to set the bar in terms of cooling performance in various magazines and reviews. The entry into the fan market with the Blue Vortex and Red Vortex was just as successful. Prolimatech is now presenting their latest addition to this segment with the unique Aluminum Vortex Silver Wings, which features Aluminum fan blades and red LEDs.

The main focus of the fan development is to ensure the most efficient cooling of their own CPU coolers. With the Vortex series, the Armageddon, Megahalems and all the other units really shine and manage to deliver the best cooling performance, but are also viable for all other coolers and computer cases in the market.

In late June, Prolimatech unveiled its latest variant of the Megahalems heatsink, the Black Edition, which has a grainy matte surface that is designed to radiate heat better than the smooth piano-black fins on the Super Mega (an older black-colored Megahalems variant). Now, Prolimatech is taking it further with the Camouflage series of heatsinks based on the Megahalems and Genesis heatsink designs. The two feature fin stacks that are mostly black, but with a dash of pale green that blends perfectly with the color of chipset and VRM heatsinks on ASUS TUF Sabertooth series motherboards.

Both heatsinks feature fins with matte surfaces. The Megahalems Camouflage is an aluminum fin dual-stack tower-type heatsink. Six nickel-plated copper heat pipes pass through the base, making a U-shape. On each of the two arms of the "U", is an independent stack of fins. Some of the upper fins have a dash of the pale green color. The Genesis Camouflage has a unique heatsink design in which six heat pipes that pass through the base convey heat to two differently oriented aluminum fin stacks: one propagates perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard, the other parallel to it, hovering over the memory area. With the same exact dimensions as the original at 130 x 158.7 x 74 mm (LxWxH), the new variant uses black colored aluminum fins. The coating doesn't make for a polished, glossy surface, but a grainy one, which increases surface area. The design remains the same: six nickel-plated copper heat pipes pass through a base, conveying heat to two aluminum fin stacks that are arranged along each arm of the U-shape the heat pipes make. The Black Series Megahalems is compatible with all the current CPU socket types, including AMD AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2; Intel LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, and LGA775. The Prolimatech Megahalems Black Series is listed on Caseking.de for €54.90.

Prolimatech's 140 mm Blue Vortex 14 and Red Vortex 14 case fans have hit the shelves, priced at €9.90. As their names suggest, these fans come in blue and red, with the red one being translucent (illuminated by four LEDs). The fans spin at speeds around 1000 rpm ± 10%. Prolimatech is out with a new high-end CPU air-cooler, the Super Mega. The pile of adjectives aside, this cooler is based on the design of its popular Megahalems dual fin-block tower design, except for a dash of copper fins sandwiched between aluminum fins. Measuring (L)130mm X (W)74mmX (H)158.7 mm, and weighing in at 945.3 g, the Super Mega uses six 6 mm thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes to convey heat to two independent aluminum-copper fin blocks, which make up the shape of a conventional tower cooler, but increase turbulence. The cooler can hold 120 mm and 140 mm fans on either sides, and supports all latest CPU sockets, including LGA1366, LGA1156, and LGA775. Prolimatech did not give out a price.

Prolimatech's latest creation is an HTPC-friendly low-profile CPU heatsink named Samuel 17, after the Biblical Old Testament chapter with the story of David and Goliath. The cooler uses a CPU base in which six nickel-plated copper heat pipes make direct contact with the processor, and convey heat to a dense aluminum fin array that propagates along the plane of the motherboard. On this, users can install a 120 mm fan. The heatsink measures 92 x 45 x 82 mm, weighing 410 g. It supports all current sockets including LGA 1366, LGA 1156, LGA 775, AM3/AM2(+). Spotted on several occasions prior to its launch, the Prolimatech Armageddon CPU cooler was finally announced to markets. The Armageddon is a retake on the tower-design CPU heatsink design. While essentially it's the same as most heatsinks in its league, what's new about its design is that the heat pipes that pass through the base contact the aluminum fins throughout their lengths (typically the pipes pass through the fins at their ends). Also, there are two blocks of aluminum fins, to which the heat pipes add turbulence. The two blocks are topped off with a metal cap.

The main unit measures 144 (W) x 160.3 (H) x 50 (D) mm, and weighs 750 g (1.65 lbs). 140 mm or 120 mm fans can be strapped onto it from either sides. The base and heat pipes are made of nickel-plated copper. The package includes no fan, but comes with a tube of Prolimatech PK-1 thermal paste. Out of the box the Armageddon supports most current Intel sockets including LGA-1366, LGA-1156, and LGA-775 using its bundled bolt-through retention module. Prolimatech, of the Megahalems CPU cooler fame, is ready with its first high-performance VGA air-cooler, the Prolimatech MK-13. The cooler boasts of a special OmniMount Retention system, that makes it compatible with all modern single-GPU graphics cards, including those from ATI Radeon HD 5000 series, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 200 series. Other series include GeForce 6 series ~ 9 series and GTS/GT/G 200, and Radeon X1000 series upward. This mechanism, the company claims, provides future-proofing.

The cooler consists of a nickel-plated copper GPU contact block from which six nickel-plated copper heatpipes arise, conveying heat to a densely-packet aluminum fin array. This array is designed such that it can hold four 120 mm fans despite there being low clearance between it and the card's PCB (enough room for memory and VRM heatsinks). Two of these fans attach along top of the array, with two on the sides (bridging two neighbouring VGA cards installed with the same cooler). The main heatsink measures 205 x 99.87 x 43.5 mm, weighing 555 g. The kit includes three different kinds of heatsinks for other components of the card, the necessary fittings, and a syringe of Prolimatech thermal compound. Prolimatech is out with a new revision of its flagship Megahalems CPU cooler. The new Revision B of Megahalems updates it for the LGA 1156 socket, and adds to its features, a little. While the heatsink itself retains the same design, changes are made to the retention module, which now features mount holes for socket LGA 1156, apart from its usual support for sockets LGA 1366, LGA 775, and AM3/AM2+/AM2. The bundle now includes four fan clips (two sets), instead of two (one set) on the older version. This allows you to install 120 mm fans on either-sides of the heatsink. Prolimatech's popular Megahalems CPU cooler has a dark twin, the MegaShadow. The cooler follows a series of four other designs by the company that unveiled back in March. The MegaShadow really is a replica of Megahalems, albeit having black coloured fins and heat-pipes, to suite some users' aesthetic tastes. Measuring 130 x 74 x 158.7 mm (LxWxD), and equipped with six heatpipes that run through the entire length of the cooler, the MegaShadow is positioned as a high-end air-cooler for sockets LGA-1366, LGA-1156, and LGA-775. Prolimatech, the Taiwanese manufacturer whose claim to fame has been the Megahalems CPU cooler, introduced its first thermal compound. The PK-1 boasts of some very bold numbers as far as its specifications go. The compound edges past the recently announced Arctic Cooling MX-3 in terms of thermal conductivity, at 10.2 W/m °C. It has a specific gravity of 3.2 g/m³. Each 5 g syringe is bundled with a plastic card that serves as a spatula to spread the compound over the heat source. European e-tailer Caseking.de has it listed for 9.90 Euro.

Prolimatech packs the large CPU cooler design ideology with DFI's LANParty branding from DFI. The company started off with the Megahalems cooler that received good reviews. PC Games Hardware sourced pictures and drawings of some really fascinating, yet large CPU coolers in the works by the company, from German retailer Caseking.de, before officially listing the products. To succeed the Megahalems, the company has three new coolers named Genesis, Jericho, and The Mammoth.

Some of the most audacious designs ever imagined, have taken shape, and may be ready to hit the market. The drawings show Jericho to be a medium-to-large cooler with stacked aluminum-fin blocks, and a fan that circulates air. The Mammoth and Genesis have a peculiar staged heat-column design. For The Mammoth, the CPU contact-block gives out numerous heatpipes that convey heat to two staged aluminum fin arrays with dedicated air-flows, both of which are along the plane of the motherboard. The Genesis, on the other hand uses a slightly different design, with an array perpendicular to the plane of the motherboard. There is no word on exactly when these coolers get listed.Source: PCGH

Some of you may have read the news post about the DFI CPU cooler, spotted on one of their boards. Not a lot of information has been made available, but we got the specifications right here for you. The cooler is made by Prolimatech, a firm established in 2008. This means that the cooler is not from Thermalright, as previously believed. It could also be possible, that the image of the DFI board with the cooler used means nothing and that DFI will not be entering the CPU cooler business after all. The "Megahalems" cooler comes with the following features:

• Minimal air resistance between fins allowing best balance between noise and performance in range of 800-1200RPM
  
• Heatpipes are lined up in a straight line to prevent air back draft allowing air to easily pass through the heatsink body
