Even as every other AIC partner is under strict directions not to modify GeForce GTX Titan board design, NVIDIA pet EVGA released pictures of its upcoming GTX Titan Signature SC HydroCopper graphics card (model: 06G-P4-2795-KR), the first GTX Titan with a full coverage water block pre-installed. Co-developed by Swiftech, EVGA's block uses nickel-plated copper as its primary material, with a secsi black shroud running the card's entire length. In addition to the 7.1 billion-transistor GPU, the block cools memory chips and VRM components on the obverse side of the PCB. The reverse side gets a back-plate. EVGA did not disclose clock speeds, but the SC (super-clocked) brand extension suggests it ships with a factory-overclock. EVGA didn't disclose its price, but we expect it to be around US $1,300.

Rouchon Industries Inc., dba Swiftech is proud to announce the imminent release of the H220 CPU cooling kit, a new all-in-one liquid cooling system compatible with all current Intel and AMD desktop processors that will ship to consumers already pre-filled for plug-and-play operations. Setting itself apart from similar offerings, the product will also feature full expansion capabilities to include additional cooling devices for graphics and or chipset.

The H220 will be unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show held from January 8th to 11th in Las Vegas, NV and Swiftech will demonstrate several systems featuring the new cooler capabilities at the Mandalay Bay Hotel Penthouse suites.

Going after the Graham's number of Asetek and Akasa rebranded closed-loop CPU cooler kits, Swiftech unveiled the H2Ox20 Elite series liquid cooling kits. According to the company, the kits combine the recently-launched Apogee Drive II CPU block featuring an integrated pump, with a choice of H20-220 Elite 2x 120 mm or H20-320 3x 120 mm radiators featuring integrated reservoirs, the appropriate number of Helix 120 mm PWM fans with 8-way PWM splitter, and Lok-Seal 1/2" x 3/4" compression fittings. Tubing and a 500 ml (17 oz) bottle of Swiftech HydrX coolant come included. The variant that includes H2O-220 Elite radiator is priced at US $239.95, and the one with H2O-320 Elite at $279.95.

Swiftech unveiled today an OEM version of the award winning MCP655 pump motor, named the MCP655-PWM DRIVE; the motor differentiates itself from previous versions by featuring PWM speed control. The offering includes the pump motor, the impeller and a fastening collet, but does not include an impeller housing which is the part of a pump featuring the impeller cavity with inlet and outlet ports, and plays an important role in its performance characteristics; this product is in effect specifically intended for integration with after-market housings or reservoirs produced by third party manufacturers.

Concurrently to this release, the company announced that it had concluded an exclusive agreement for distribution of this product in the United States with leading reseller Frozen CPU.com. Under the agreement, FrozenCPU.com will assume retail and wholesale distribution, as well as warranty support for the product.

Swiftech today unveiled revision 2 of the MCRx20-QP radiator with integrated reservoir. The product is modular and can be configured to operate either as a standalone coolant reservoir or with one or two integrated Swiftech’s MCP35x class pumps, all fitting in a dual CD drive bay.

The primary design concepts for this product line were modularity and compatibility with the MCP35x class pumps and their related accessories for upgrade purposes. Continuing the company’s long established tradition, the Maelstrom also includes a host of monitoring and operational safety features which combined together form a unique offering in the industry, such as: coolant temperature display, graduated level, anti-vortex design, multiple inlet ports, extra-large fill-port, and UV LED; its robust and elegant construction features a solid black anodized aluminum face plate with large cutouts allowing easy visualization of the coolant status.

Swiftech today announced the release of the Apogee Drive II, a CPU waterblock featuring an integrated pump. Derived in general concept from the company's Apogee Drive initially released in 2007, the Apogee Drive II much differs from the original in terms of its execution. The original was conceived as a moderate cost unit, using plastic injection molding for its body, the entry-level MCP350 pump and it came with bare essentials. In contrast, the Apogee Drive II is conceived as a luxury vessel: its uses the PWM controlled MCP35X, Swiftech's most powerful pump to date, a precision CNC machined water-block body that lends itself to easy upgrades for future socket form factors, adjustable inlet and outlet ports, a heatsink to further cool the pump, LED illuminated logo in a choice of 3 colors, braided cables, and the company's now famous retention system. The only concession to cost and waste-cutting measure the company made was to not bundle all the retention systems into one SKU, and to make 3 separate product versions.

Swiftech today announced the release for retail sales of the Komodo HD7970 waterblock for AMD's Radeon HD 7970 graphics card.

Covering the full-length of the card to protect its fragile components, and featuring an enhanced thermal design, illuminated bridge, and a comprehensive package including single-slot PCI bracket and a back-plate, this is the most sophisticated full-cover waterblock offered by Swiftech to date. Companion accessories complete the offering with optional CrossFireX bridges and adjustable connectors for multiple card configurations.

EVGA kicked off its GeForce GTX 680 lineup with no less than five models. The Into, SC, FTW, Classified, and HydroCopper. Intro is the absolute base model, with fanatic adherence to NVIDIA reference clock speeds of 1006/1056/6000 MHz (core/boost/memory effective) and board design; SC (or SuperClocked) is a factory-overclocked model that has slightly higher clock speeds, and augments the NVIDIA reference design with an EVGA-exclusive backplate. Then there's FTW, which features a custom cooler design by EVGA, with even higher clock speeds than SC. The last air-cooled model is the Classified, which our sources tell us will have "astoundingly" high clock speeds. HydroCopper retains the clock profile of Classified, but replaces the cooling assembly with a Swiftech-built copper water-block. EVGA is yet to reveal the design of Classified, and the clock speeds of the factory-overclocked models. There are other variations, such as EVGA's "Signature" design with SuperClocked clock-profile, FTW with 4 GB memory, etc.

Swiftech is almost ready with a high-end, full-coverage water block for AMD Radeon HD 7970 graphics card, which its makers are touting as being a "real" full coverage block, as it's not only making contacts with all critical hot components of the card, but also physically covering the entire area of the PCB, including its reverse side, with a backplate (something that's not part of the AMD reference design). The company released CGI drawings of its product to the web.

Called the Komodo HD 7970, the block confines itself to the size of one expansion slot with an included single-slot bracket. The monolithic black design adds a lot to the aesthetics of the card, including its fittings area. The primary material of the block is nickel-plated copper. The portion of the block over the GPU has a 0.25x0.25 Micro Pin matrix, which maximizes heat dissipation to the coolant. Unlike other full-coverage blocks where a portion of the block that doesn't have flowing coolant makes contact with the VRM, the Komodo HD 7970 has "active" VRM cooling, where the area over the VRM has its own coolant chamber, and is part of the coolant's primary flow.

EVGA made its SuperClock CPU fan-heatsink ready for Intel's new "Sandy Bridge-E" socket LGA2011 platform with a mounting kit update that can be purchased separately, as well as could be included in future batches of the product. Carrying the part number M020-00-000234, the LGA2011 mounting kit update for EVGA SuperClock, is priced at US $9.99 on the EVGA store. EVGA released the SuperClock CPU fan-heatsink this May, it is a tower-type fan-heatsink with design based on Swiftech Polaris 120. EVGA's implementation makes use of black fins, heat pipes, and a red LED-illuminated fan. Excluding the LGA2011 mounting kit, the EVGA SuperClock is priced at $55.

Swiftech announced the release for retail sales of their new flagship CPU waterblock, the Apogee HD, concurrently with Revision 3 of the Patent Pending MCRx20 Drive series of PC radiators.

Close to 18 months in the making, the Apogee HD was designed to surpass its predecessor the Award Winning Apogee XT in all critical areas: improved thermal performance, reduced flow restriction, new choices of colors, classic black or fashionable white, fine-tuned mounting system, lower cost, and an exclusive innovative feature that works in conjunction with the new Revision of the MCRx20 Drive PC Radiators: the Multi-port connectivity.

Here is the first EVGA-branded CPU air cooler, the EVGA SuperClock. Based on the design of Swiftech Polaris 120, the EVGA SuperClock uses nearly the same materials, but uses black-colored fins and heat pipes, apart from an illuminated fan. Like the original, the main heatsink consists of a heat pipe direct contact base, where the five heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU, the pipes in the central portion of the base (which receive most of the heat), propagate from a portion of the aluminum fin array that gets the maximum airflow. The heatsink is ventilated by a 120 mm spinner that lights up red, spins at 750 - 2500 RPM, pushing up to 84 CFM of air. At US $49.99, it's cheaper than the Swiftech Polaris 120, that's priced at $59.99 on the company store.

EVGA released a 3 GB (3072 MB) variant of its top of the line single-GPU graphics card, the EVGA GTX 580 FTW HydroCopper 2. It significantly lower clock speeds than the original 1.5 GB variant, of 772 MHz GPU, 1544 MHz CUDA cores, and 1002 MHz (4008 MHz effective) memory, against the 1.5 GB variant's 850/1700/4196 MHz (core/CUDA cores/memory effective). The card comes with a Swiftech-made EVGA HydroCopper 2 full-coverage water block pre-fitted, along with an EVGA GTX 580 backplate. The water block makes the card truly single slot, with the company replacing the double-slot bracket with a single slot one. The 3 GB EVGA GTX 580 FTW HydroCopper 2 is priced at US $739.99, a $40 premium over the 1.5 GB variant.

Swiftech is making a comeback to making CPU air-coolers. The company currently specializes in water-cooling components such as CPU/GPU water blocks, radiators, etc. Swiftech's latest air-cooler is called Polaris 120, and is a tower-type heatsink. It makes use of five 8 mm thick copper heat pipes that make direct contact with the CPU, to feed heat to a dense aluminum fin array. The aluminum fins have grooves at their edges to improve heat dissipation. As the name suggests, it uses a 120 mm fan to ventilate the heatsink. The fan spins at speeds of 750~1500 rpm, with rated noise output of 13.2 ~ 41.5 dBA. Measuring 135 (W) x 91 (D) x 152 (H) mm, it weights 849 g. Slated for next week, it is expected to be priced at $60.

AMD is planning a revised Radeon HD 6900 series reference-design PCB. It is reported that the delays which short-supply of TI-made driver-MOSFETs caused have been tided over with, giving AMD the opportunity to redesign the PCB to make use of the more cost-effective yet high-performance VRM circuitry. AMD is reported to have used expensive Volterra-made digital PWM chippery in a last-ditch effort to release the Radeon HD 6900 series in time for the X'mas shopping season, after TI-made VRM components couldn't make it to foundry-partners in time (which caused the launch delay in November, 2010). The redesigned PCB with its new TI-made driver-MOSFETs (DrMOS) could also present an opportunity for AMD to patch the Radeon HD 6950, making stream processor unlocking using BIOS flash impossible, notes the source. Swiftech today announced the release for retail sales of the new MCP35X pump. The product was initially unveiled earlier this month as the engine powering the Company's new H20-X20 Edge Kits. As a standalone pump, the MCP35X is a substantial step forward from the long established MCP355 series. It receives considerable hydraulic performance enhancements, its operating speed is adjustable via the motherboard, and the inlet/outlet ports now meet the G1/4" standard. System integration is also improved thanks to an optional "built-in" reservoir, which further reduces the device's overall footprint and should ease installation into space constrained cases.

Rouchon Industries, Inc. dba Swiftech today announced the release of the H20-X20 EDGE series of "all-in-one" liquid cooling kits. The kits are composed of a patent pending heat exchanger combining pump and reservoir, and a CPU waterblock, which considerably simplifies the task of installation for the users. The patent pending heat exchangers called MCR Drive (Rev2) come in two sizes: for dual 120mm fans and for triple 120mm fans; they incorporate a new high power pump with variable speed control managed by the motherboard. The Apogee XTL CPU water-block included in the kits is derived from Swiftech's award winning Apogee XT.

Swiftech is counting on the versatility and performance superiority of their kits 'design to attract an expanded range of users. A key factor with respect to versatility is the kit's ability to easily support additional devices such as liquid cooled graphics coolers or extra radiators which is a must-have among power users; the extremely broad performance range of the H20-X20 kits is of equal importance in terms of competitive advantage, as the kits can be tuned to satisfy both ends of the users 'spectrum: from silent operations to extreme cooling; and finally the ease of installation is expected to appeal to quality oriented first-time users.

Swiftech released a pair of hybrid cooling solutions for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480, GTX 470 and GTX 465 graphics cards, that are aimed to provide better cooling compared to full-coverage water blocks. The principle revolves around treating the GPU as a separate thermal zone from the rest of the card, so that water-cooling can focus on cooling the GPU, while heat from the GPU isn't transferred to the rest of the relatively cooler heat producing parts (such as memory chips, VRM FETs, etc.). Swiftech's offer includes MCW-GTX480 and MCW-GTX470 (which should be compatible with GTX 465 reference design, too). These consist of the MCW80 GPU water block that's designed to handle the thermal loads of GF100, and a full-coverage aluminum heatsink that covers all critical heat-producing areas on the PCB, including the memory chips and the VRM. The heatsink is further designed such that the user can mount an 80 mm fan onto it, for even higher cooling performance. The sets are priced lower than most full-coverage water-blocks, the MCW80-GTX480 is priced at $99.95, while the MCW80-GTX470 goes for $98.95.

EVGA started offering the Hydro Copper water-block for GeForce GTX 470 as an accessory. Until now the block was available only as part of the EVGA GTX 470 Hydro Copper FTW graphics card, which is priced at $499.99. With the block being sold loose, users with the air-cooled variants of GTX 470 have the option of upgrading to water-cooling. The Hydro Cooper block costs $139.99.

Manufactured by Swiftech, the EVGA Hydro Copper water-block consists of a central portion from which the coolant flows, this part is directly over the GPU and memory, and makes use of 0.6 x 0.6 mm thin copper pin matrix for heat dissipation. The base consists of chrome electro-plated copper. The other two segments are heatsinks which convey heat to the central portion, cooling the VRM areas. Both both 1/2” and 3/8” high-flow fittings are supported.

Without making much noise, Swiftech introduced its latest creation, a successor to the MCW60, the MCW80 universal GPU water-block. This water block has a wide-range of compatibility with this generation of GPUs. It uses a copper block with a high-density pin matrix to increase surface area of heat dissipation. The housing is made of black Delrin. It measures 49.6 x 49.6 x 32.2 mm, and weighs 141 g. The block is compatible with eurostyle fittings with built-in o-ring, and sticks to G 1/4 thread specification for the ports. With the appropriate hold-down, the MCW80 supports the latest GPUs, including ATI Radeon HD 5800/5900 series, and NVIDIA GeForce 400 series. It is priced at US $56.95. The GeForce 400 series kit is coming soon, at a price of $11.99.

EVGA unleashed a lineup of graphics cards based on NVIDIA's new GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470 graphics processors, complete with overclocked, overclocker-friendly, and water cooling-ready models. While the air-cooled models retain NVIDIA's reference design, the Hydro Copper series models sport a full-coverage, copper-rich water-block made for EVGA by Swiftech. On the air-cooled offer are base-models for the GTX 480 and GTX 470 that use NVIDIA reference clock-speeds, and level-1 overclock (Superclocked / SC) models. PC water-cooling specialists Swiftech presented its newest CPU water block, the Apogee XT. A result of extensive competitive testing, the Apogee XT comes across as a completely redesigned block that goes beyond redesigning the retention mechanism alone. The block is made entirely of copper and brass, and has a brass housing with black chrome plating. The cold plate surface is topographically mapped to provide an optimized TIM contact with socket LGA 771, 775, 1156 and 1366 compatible processors. The inlet plate which is at the center of the block, is detachable. It supports high flow 1/4" BSPP x 1/2" fittings.
