Xilence, global acting manufacturer of PC cooling solutions and power supply units, announced today that the new power supply units of its XQ series are now available in retail. The gold-certified 750 Watt and the platinum-certified 850 Watt model will be immediately available. A 1000 Watt platinum version is expected to come on the market at the beginning of June.
The new XQ power supply unit range is an entirely new development. These silent running units break with the usual compact block shape, featuring a sloping side with two built-in 60 mm fans. This is the visible part of the new Direct Airflow concept, which ensures noise-free work at maximum performance. Inside, the cooling unit divides the power supply into two cooling zones monitored by temperature sensors. If the temperature exceeds a certain level in one of the zones, the fan of this zone will start to rotate slowly.

Xilence Rolls Out a Dual-Drive 5.25-inch Dock
Xilence Technology has now introduced the SSD-/HDD-Dock, an all-black device that fits into a 5.25-inch bay and offers space for two 2.5-inch SATA drives as well as two USB 3.0 ports (ports which can be connected to the motherboard via a 19-pin plug). This internal dock features Hot Swap capabilities and is shipping in Europe bearing a recommended price tag of 27.90 Euro.
Xilence Intros New Top Flow M608 CPU Cooler
Xilence unveiled its latest multi-socket type compatible CPU cooler, the M608. This cooler sports a top air-flow design, where air is blown on to the motherboard, through three aluminum fin arrays that propagates parallel to the plane of the motherboard. Heat is fed to them using four nickel plated copper heat pipes. Including its 120 mm PWM-controlled fan, the cooler measures 143 x 136 x 129 mm. The fan spins at speeds between 500 and 1500 RPM, with up to 27.6 dB noise output. It supports all current socket types, including LGA1366, LGA1155/LGA1156, LGA775, AM3/AM2/AM2+. The Xilence M608 is priced at 49 EUR.
Xilence Ready With M606 CPU Cooler
Xilence is ready with a new performance CPU cooler, the M606. With a typical aluminum fin tower design, the M606 can handle CPUs with TDPs of up to 150W. It makes use of six heat pipes to convey heat to a dense aluminum fin array, which dissipate heat to the air flow by 120 mm fan. The fan spins a 1500 rpm, and has a frame made of rubber, which dampens noise a little. All current sockets, including LGA 1366, LGA 1156, LGA 775, and AM3/AM2 are supported. The M606 will reach stores soon.Source: CenterZone.it
Xilence Readies XQ 1200W 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU
In the era of the power-guzzling GeForce GTX 480, >1000W PSUs don't seem overkill anymore, especially if 2-way or 3-way SLI setups are planned with them. Xilence is readying a new high-end PSU in its XQ line. The XQ 1200W packs four +12V rails, it offers a very high efficiency of 92%, qualifying for the 80 Plus Gold rating. It is cooled by a 135 mm PWM fan, and packs several safe power features such as over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage and short circuit protection. Available a little later this month, the XQ 1200W will sell for 249 EUR.Source: TechConnect Magazine
