ZOWIE GEAR's product line expands into cable management devices with the introduction of the CAMADE.

ZOWIE GEAR understands that there are users who experience inconveniences with their mouse cable; whether it's due to space constraints, caught cable, or cable entanglement. The CAMADE is our solution to those issues. It manages the cable ensuring that this does not happen by allowing gamers to have a set cable length available to make quick and unobstructed movements.

ZOWIE GEAR's product line is expanding with the launch of its new competitive gaming headset MASHU. ZOWIE MASHU is named after Lake Mashu which is one of the clearest lakes in the world. With the new headset, ZOWIE aims to provide clear and precise sound so gamers can get more information in order to make the right decisions in-game. The name of the headset reflects our goal.

GSL, one of the most famous StarCraft II tournaments in the world and our closest partner also approved the sound quality and comfort of the MASHU as they decided to make it the official GSL branded headphones. After the headphone was used by the best StarCraft II players from around the world, who competed for the GSL title, ZOWIE GEAR decided MASHU is now ready to be unleashed to all competitive gamers.

One of the most interesting things about e-Sports is that it is a competitive activity, which is not limited by a player’s physical capability. Players are able to compete against other players on response time, creativity and ability to perform in stressed situations. Nothing is given in electronic sports, as even the smallest impact can change the course of the game. This is one of the things that make electronic sports so interesting and intriguing to watch.

This is also why any player needs to be able to trust his equipment to perform at its best in any given situation. On the 15th of July 2010 we introduced to you the result of our first mouse-development, the EC-series, a series of competitive gaming mice developed in close cooperation with Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen.

The EC-series has a special place in our hearts, because it was the first product where we could really show off the result of the hard work and dedication we put into every product. To us the result was not only a great mouse for competitive gaming - it was also a symbol of the passion and ambition ZOWIE GEAR was founded on.

There is no one-size fits all for computer gaming peripherals. All gamers are different and we recognize that each and every one of you has different needs and preferences. Therefore it was only a matter of time until we would put our efforts into developing a mouse for competitive RTS gaming. The ZOWIE MiCO is developed for those of you who won’t settle for second best – you want the best from your equipment and seek stability in a high quality mouse that you can trust to always perform flawlessly.

Developed together with the Korean powerhouse StarTale, ZOWIE MiCO is a reflection of the experience and expertise of some of the best and most recognized StarCraft 2 players in the world. During the development of the ZOWIE MiCO, we faced three major challenges we had to overcome.

Gaming peripherals expert Zowie Gear released a 'quicker' version of its G-TF gaming mousepad, the G-TF Speed, which is modified to give greater speed (gliding movements) at the expense of control, which suits certain kinds of gaming scenarios better. The G-TF Speed has a surface area of 440 x 320 mm, and is 2 mm thick. It is spill-resistant, has a rubber underside that provides a tractive-grip on the surface below, and features rolled edges. Being skilled at a game will only get you as far as your equipment allows. At ZOWIE GEAR we try to develop equipment that will push or completely remove these limitations, so the skills of each individual gamer can be expressed freely. Our current range of competitive gaming products includes mouse pads, headsets, mice and peripherals. We are very proud of these products, as we believe they have helped set new standards of quality and performance within the competitive gaming segment. The keyboard is a key factor in different competitive gaming titles, where response-time and the ability to move freely is essential to increase the gamers' performance. It was only a matter of time until we would put our attention on developing a keyboard; with that being said, we are extremely happy with the outcome of our new keyboard for competitive gaming.

Developing competitive gaming gear which satisfies a wide variety of gamers through different types of games such as FPS, RTS and Racing games is a challenge. To overcome the challenges, we teamed up with professional players of Counter-Strike (FPS), Starcraft (RTS) and Kartrider (Racing), in order to develop a keyboard which allows for fast and efficient usage. With special thanks to Abdisamad 'SpawN' Mohamed, Young Ho 'Flash' Lee and Ho Jun 'Ho-Jun' Moon, we introduce to you the ZOWIE CELERITAS.

More than 12 months of extensive research and development. Testing of 7 different sensors using two different technologies. We present to you the ZOWIE EC-series, a new series of competitive gaming mice co-developed with the legendary Counter-Strike player, Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen. With the choice to develop a mouse with either optical or laser technology, surely ZOWIE and HeatoN has developed a high end laser mouse, using the newest technology available?

Wrong. If you expected us to develop a laser mouse using the newest technology with driver installation and complicated software, we are sorry to disappoint you. Only the best is good enough for us and our customers, unfortunately laser haven't been able to pass our extensive testing. Why is this? Well, the laser technology surely is new and innovative. It only has one problem, but for a gaming grade product, the problem is quite serious. Most gamers prefer cloth mouse pads today, when using a mouse on a cloth surface, the movements will destroy the structure of the fibers bit by bit and static electricity caused by the friction between mouse feet and cloth will cause particles to stick to the lens very easily. This happens for both optical and laser lens, but the laser lens is more sensitive, resulting in a very unstable tracking when particles are gathered at the lens. The optical lens is not as annoyed by the absorption of particles and will continue to function flawlessly, as it pretty much ignores the particles.
