Easily Migrate to Our Sister Site for Some Off Topic Entertainment

Dear community members,

We have just finished work on a brand new feature that lets registered members of TechPowerUp forums create their profile on our sister site GeneralNonsense.net in a snap.

Early last year, we decided to spin off the "General Nonsense" forum on TechPowerUp Forums to create GeneralNonsense.net, a community with a broader scope for TPU members to socialize. However, many TPU regulars complained that creating a new account there was a cumbersome process.

The new feature lets you create an account at GeneralNonsense.net using your existing TPU credentials a piece of cake:

An averaging 113,000 points a day are being made by the team of 32 members. Full statistics of what's going on can be found here. The team is using me and this news story to become even bigger and recruit more members. To participate, please visit our forums thread here.

TechPowerUp!'s Own Ben Clarke Starts Web Comic 'Front Side Bus'

TechPowerUp! is a source for a lot of things in the computer world. You can get reviews of the latest hardware, articles telling you how to build/mod said hardware, tools to overclock that hardware, an information repository, and a close, loving community. We're proud to announce that there is an addition to what techPowerUp! brings you. Forum user Ben Clarke recently started his very own web comic, which he called "Front Side Bus". The comics are co-developed with user "PVTCaboose1337", and are shaped by the ideas of several users. You can see the development team at work here.

The official website of 'Front Side Bus' is here. All of us here at techPowerUp! Hope that this comic becomes just as popular, if not more so, than Cyanide and Happiness.

TechPowerUp! forum member Slater going into surgery

I know, you were probably expecting some news on the R600, or the G90, or something actually having to do with the hardware/gaming world. However, one of our forum members, Slater, is a lot closer to the gaming community than you think. Like most techPowerUp! forum members, Slater is someone who's very willing to help someone in need. If you've ever had a problem with hackers, Windows, or programming, you probably know Slater very well. I just thought it would interest some of you to know that Slater will be going into surgery, as his hand needs reconstructing. Slater is known for posting his wisdom in such helpful threads as the "sticky" Reccomended Software.
