Honestly I think you're missing the point because your bias is showing. The point was made not as a directive to buy the PS5 Pro, but to compare console pricing to the overall PC market.

I can buy an Xbox series x and a PS5 for the price for a launch 7900 XTX, and get the same level of enjoyment from the consoles. The PC market is too expensive these days.

PC hardware is becoming so expensive these days. Having a 4K setup is too costly in comparison to simply purchasing a console and a 120 hz 4K TV. I'm not sure my enjoyment would be significantly less anymore.

Arch is great as vanilla, otherwise it doesn't work unless it's built around a custom device such as steam deck. Ubuntu based or fedora is the way anyway, as AMD/intel/nvidia supplies all firmware to those bases.

Manjaro is the worst distro based on arch in my opinion. It breaks too often due unless you never use the arch or flatpack repos.

What is there to market?

Crazy to me that Microcenter was able to strike an exclusive deal to get the 5600X3D. I would have to drive 2.5 hours one way, and then back. It would cost me a gas tank thus eliminating the savings. $229 + $80 gas = 5800X3D
