The Ayaneo 2 is a solid-state drive in the M.2 2280 form factor, launched in 2023. It is only available in the 1 TB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the Ayaneo 2 interfaces using a PCI-Express 3.0 x4 connection. The SSD controller is the RTS5765DL from Realtek, a DRAM cache is not available. Ayaneo has installed 144-layer QLC NAND flash on the 2, the flash chips are made by Intel. To improve write speeds, a pseudo-SLC cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are soaked up more quickly. The 2 is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 2,800 MB/s and 2,300 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 110K for reads and 100K for writes.
The SSD's price at launch is unknown. The warranty length is set to five years, which is an excellent warranty period. Ayaneo guarantees an endurance rating of 2500 TBW, a high value.
