The SSD MW Informatica pSLC is a solid-state drive in the 2.5" form factor, launched on January 1st, 2024. It is only available in the 240 GB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the SSD MW Informatica pSLC interfaces using a SATA 6 Gbps connection. The SSD controller is the SM2259XT2 from Silicon Motion, a DRAM cache is not available. SSD MW Informatica has installed 176-layer pSLC NAND flash on the pSLC, the flash chips are made by Micron. The pSLC is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 560 MB/s and 500 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 70K for reads and 76K for writes.
The SSD's price at launch is unknown. The warranty length is set to five years, which is an excellent warranty period. SSD MW Informatica guarantees an endurance rating of 5760 TBW, an extremely high value, making this drive fit for demanding enterprise applications.
