ECS stuff is pretty good. I wouldn't get them over MSI or ASUS, but if it's priced right, it would be a good board for someone not looking to overclock.

Bird of Prey
Their black series mobos are pretty damn good and looks like the trend will continue. Not a fan of the cooling solution used but eh, could be a lot worse.

Not given enough credit

Ecs boards have been a very stable platform over the last 3 years and have been improving on their high end boards, I have seen an ECS 790fx Black series out perform almost every Brands MID level Boards at an average of 20% less cost, i believe these boards should be considered LOW-END of the HIGH-END boards and should be given the credit they deserve, if I was in the market I would pick up an ECS Black series over any MID level board
