I hate the fact that they stick just 2 RAM slots on these small boards. WHY!? I want 4 of them.

Keep in mind what Llano is actually targeting plus current Llano only can do their rated
1866 ram speeds at up to 2 module. In essence, putting 2 slots, particularly on such a
value board is typically (not necessarily for you) plenty.

There are some Llano MicroATX boards with 4 RAM slots. I just built one for a relative. Didn't need it but the 4 slot board also had better features and sockets whereas the 2 slot one was about $10 less in price and was very basic.

I don't see any need for 4 slots, 4GB RAM sticks are cheap today so if you really need RAM just put 2x4GB and it's more than enough.

agreed, even if it only nets a $5-10 savings in price. the Llano platform is about price/performance balance, not performance > price. there's a never ending series of $5-10 upgrades you can just keep adding when building a budget computer, an 8 gig limit for ram seems like a pretty reasonable place to sit for budget builds considering the price and availability of 4gig dimms.
