Cirago Launches Dual Drive Docking Station with Cloning Capabilities

Following on RaidSonic's footsteps, Sunnyvale-based Cirago International has developed and now announced its own dual-bay hard drive docking station which allows for PC-less cloning. This means that you can copy all data and system files from one drive to another at the touch of a button, without connecting the dock to a PC.

Dubbed CDD3000, Cirago's dock supports 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA drives, features USB 3.0 connectivity and comes with a one-year warranty. The device will become available very soon (probably this month) bearing a price tag of $89.

That is very cool, specially as it does not need to be connected to the pc to work.

Sorry Dan :)

Handy for cloning a lot of HDD to put in "mirror" hardware PCs when someone orders you let's say 10 identical PCs.

Hopefully someone figured out a mod to chain them together.
