Is anyone aware of the benefit of this over SSD caching on newer Intel boards?
I know of at least one company that OEMs LSIs chip for their server RAID controllers and offers the CacheCade as a factory option.
What's the price range on this? LSI starts around $329 for 4 port SAS and goes up from there.
