NZXT Announces H630 Ultra-Tower Chassis

The newest premium chassis from NZXT is now ready to see the light of day! After the futuristic variants of the Phantom series and feature-rich Switch and Source lines, NZXT is introducing the H630, which combines the incredible functionality found in other NZXT cases with silence. It offers loads of space for motherboards of up to XL-ATX size, multiple radiator support and up to two 200 mm fans in the front. To guarantee a silent computing experience, the NZXT H630 also features generous use of sound dampening materials. This optimization along with the overall, understated design result in the professional look of the H630.

The NZXT H630 is available in two color choices - black or white. The clean straight lines with soft corners along with its excellent construction quality, gives the chassis its modern look & feel. This does not only hold true for the exterior but continues within the enclosure as well. Equipped with three separate hard drive bays, the H630 is incredibly flexible how many drives one may install, while offering the most space possible.
The advantage of such a flexibility lies in the ability to offer the best possible air flow and plenty of space for radiators. The impressive number of spaces for such cooling units includes 360 mm mountings in the top and the front, while you are also able to place a third unit of 280 mm size in the floor of the chassis. The NZXT H630 is alternatively also able to take two 200 mm cooling fans in the front of the chassis, one of which already comes pre-installed out of the box.

Another pre-installed 140 mm variant in the rear of the chassis aids in pushing out hot air out of the H630. Numerous further fan openings ensure that one can maximize the cooling potential of the chassis while keeping noise at a minimum. This is achieved by an ingenious design to allow for air flow, but also the use of solid side and front panels. Slim air vents on the edges of the chassis give way to fresh air, while encapsulating any noise generated from within the system.

The NZXT H630 is a modern, timeless Ultra-Tower with a well rounded I/O panel consisting of two USB 2.0 and a pair of USB 3.0 connectors, along with the usual audio connectivity. On top of these, NZXT has also included an SDXC capable card reader.

The NZXT H630 Ultra-Tower chassis will be available at the end of June, for a price of £129.05 exclusively at OCUK in the colors mat black and white. You can find the Overclockers UK - Special to the NZXT H630 here: (black, white).

Since this thing offers so much water cooling options, it should really have a window. I wouldn't mind owning the case though, as long its is not plastic fantastic like all of NZXT's other cases.

H cases are built to be silent, I would assume the window was left out for that reason. Also I wouldn't be shocked to see a windowed panel option down the line.

Why on earth would they make it exclusive to OCUK? Considering how many people avoid that place like the plague, surely it's going to lose them so many sales...

I find it hard to believe that they will be only selling it at OC-UK as they have been advertising this case in other markets.

I would have preferred a door to the external 5.25" drives as I haven't used one for a long time now and this would have looked better than 2 blanking plates, also I see the USB front ports are the same design as their Phantom series and practically flush with the top panel, which looks nice but is a pain in the ass to blind plug in USB devices if your PC is quite a far bit under your desk like mine, this is a major issue for me, there's no exuce for an £80+ to have such a design flaw IMO. Having them slightly lowered would allow for much easier insert of USB devices and wouldn't detract from the looks at all. Sometimes I can plug/unplug front USB devices 50+ times a day, so as trivial as it seems when I have to bend down or pull my tower forward just to do something as simple it becomes a major PITA. Other than that it looks clean and quiet.

To answer some questions and elaborate more on the chassis:

The H630 will be sold worldwide.

This is not a "take" on Fractal's chassis, it is the successor to our H2 chassis released in early 2011.

The top and front panels are made from powder-coated steel.

The USB ports are located where they are because the chassis pulls air in from the right side as well. It's not a design flaw, it's actually the smartest place to put it when trying to keep the front and top nice and clean, as well from a design/manufacturing stand point.

It is under the classification of an Ultratower, 9 expansion slots.

The chassis will be available in the USA. And yes, we're looking toward mid/end May depending on the shipping time.

Thanks! Our design team worked very hard on getting a lot of features packed in to it at a good price (150 for all of this is nothing but a bargain.)

NZXT is an American company so I would like to think so.

I must be getting older because instead of windows, LEDs, flashy paint, etc... I just want a plain looking case that works well. At this point when I build myself a machine I don't hook up the power or HDD LEDs to the motherboard (NO LIGHTS!). That said this looks like a winner to me.

To infinity ... and beyond!
I love clean and simple designs, I'm not 13 anymore so I don't understand the point of huge flashy edgy cases. Go clean, stay clean.

Steel. The front and top panels are steel. Perfect for modders. There's Sound Dampening material for those who like quiet, there's modular drive cages for those with few HDDs, there's native room for a top AND front 360mm radiator for the watercoolers. And there's two optical bays, because really, you should only need 2 at most for a fan controller and blu-ray drive, or a reservoir, depending on your needs.

Chicks dig it.

BTW, I think I stared at your avatar for about five minutes before I realized it.... good time waster!

I had two questions about this case. First of all, do the intake fans have filters? Secondly, I know there is one 200mm fan in the front with room for a second, but unfortunately 200mm fans don't have any kind of consistent mounting hole spacing, unlike the 140mm and below. What kind of mounting holes do the front fan mounts have? In particular, I was wondering if the Antec Big Boy 200 or the Silverstone Air Penetrator AP181 would fit the front fan mounts.

Waita actually skip over my comments with some good old marketing blurb :toast: if you really want to be taken seriously on here then you need to respond to people instead of sounding off like a robot, not impressed.
