Eww, yea because most computer cases/monitors are black. But it all depends on the interior of the room that its in. If the color scheme fits with light colors, a white keyboard might not be too out of place.
I'd say this would go best with all the Apple iMACs out there.

If you could find the K400, buy it, it's superb for a htpc. Make sure it has the old win logo on the win key. If it has the win8 logo, it's the inferior K400r. Stay away from the k400r!
I repeat, STAY AWAY!
K400r, has all F keys turned into "extras" -as in mail, volume, play, stop etc..
To use the Function keys F1-F2 you have to hold down the FN key.
Logitech has removed a standard keyboard function.
There is a way to make the keyboard work as a normal would, but that include downloading a 52MB software just to use a checkbox "Use Function keys like every other k-board on the planet"...:banghead:
