NVIDIA Releases GeForce 353.06 WHQL Drivers

In the wake of its new high-end GPU launch, the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, NVIDIA released new GeForce 353.06 WHQL drivers. In addition to support for the new GPU, version 353.06 WHQL is Game Ready for "Heroes of the Storm," including an SLI profile and one-click optimization in GeForce Experience.

The R353 drivers bring a few new features to the table, including G-Sync support for windowed applications (could be useful in 'windowed-maximized' display-modes in certain games), a new feature called ULMB (ultra-low motion-blur), which arbitrarily decreases motion-blur drawn by applications (could help with excessive ghosting on LCDs with high response-times), and Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) for notebook GPUs. The drivers also add a comprehensive game-optimization suite for GPUs based on the "Kepler" architecture, which should increase frame-rates across the board for GeForce GTX 600 and GTX 700 series.

You can't win this one. The response is "They only did it now because of the backlash".

Of course the truth is much more like Kepler is already optimised as far as it gets, therefore as Maxwell matures it will stretch it's lead over Kepler. That Kepler can still get decent optimisations is a great thing.

Good job now, Nvidia. No more endless TDR's like in previous one.

They optimized Kepler, but in recent drivers a lot of users have seen regression to old performance. This driver has effectively "restored" the optimizations and is needed. Seen a nice little boost even on my first generation dog of a card :)

Choose a DSR resoultion in FC4 (mine was 2x of 2560x1440), then try to enable simulated fur and enhanced godrays. I couldn't even get out of the menu without the game freezing. Tried twice.

No crashes or TDR's at all. But what I did. I performed 'Clean and Restart' using Display Driver Uninstaller tool in Safe Mode.

After installed just the minimum of 2 from 7, - Graphics Driver 353.06 and PhysX System Software 9.15.0428. And everything fine now. I suspect that problem may be in one of the other 5 components.

The FC4 crash with godrays / sim fur is still there, but I could kill FC4 with this driver, it didn't let FC4 hog the screen after the crash.
