Flybook VM: a notebook with a twist

Here's an example of what notebooks could be like in the future. Dialogue is releasing its Flybook VM on the 20th of this month - but it isn't your standard laptop. The Flybook features an extendable screen stand allowing it to be raised up away from the main body of the computer, giving it an appearance that could be expected from an iMac, meaning it offers a superior screen position over normal notebooks.

Including a 1.66GHz Core Duo Processor and up to 2GB of RAM, along with a battery life of 2.5 hours, this isn't exactly a sluggish machine. The price is quite steep at $2,878 for the basic version (without Windows XP), but if you're interested you can go here to read through the specs and pre order it.

I'd rather stick with my normal notebook, that monitor hinge doesn't look like it can withstand constant opening and closing.

Nice idea, now it needs a built in handle.
