Intel will introduce integrated DX10 graphics in Q3 2007

Quarter 3 of 2007 will be very interesting for the hardware industry, as Intel plans to roll out the first motherboard with DX10 compatible integrated graphics. The G35 will support Intel Clear Video Micro-architecture, DDR2 and DDR3 memory simultaneously, and possibly an FSB of 1333 MHz. It can and will be matched with ICH9, ICH9R, ICH9DH Southbridges

If there are going to be Integrated Graphics with DX10, you would have to say there will be DX10 AGP cards as well. 8800 series excluded, both ATI and Nvidia had AGP versions of their range topping series (7800GS and X1950PRO) which they wouldn't have done if they didn't think the market was still there for them.

Even if they are budget or mid range rather than top end I think we will see them before long

AGP should just die ;P
And I say that although I only got AGP.

I am really looking forward to ICH9x chipsets. Hopefully yet more SATA Ports :D

why does agp have to die? it still works dammit and some ppl cant afford a full system overhaul so the vid card will have to do thats the boat im in you cant just hope it will die nothing even uses the full bus of teh thing anyway so its not exactly outdated now is it?

I think this is why AMD scooped up ATI. AMD will bring the house down with a Processor which eliminates the need for a graphics card. I'd spend a G on that!

Thats not happening anytime soon they just wanted to corner the market with processors and GPUs and probably making crossfire motherboards. They're just trying to scoop up another large part of the market.

AMDATI are genius folks and I commend them on what they are doing.

now, to the topic at hand, this is pretty interesting. Though I dont own any intel and am not a huge fan of intel (yes I know they are whooping AMD right now) I may seriously think of building one of these systems with this mobo.
