not really needed imo i dont think the wii and ps3 are compatible with specific sd cards so why pay extra kinda like vista certified stuff

You're right, I don't like the way some companies brand something for a specific use to make it seem superior. It may be slightly quicker, but it honestly doesn't matter much in situations like this, you aren't ever going to load anything more than a few meg from an SD card using a Wii or PS3.

Stupid. Normal SD cards are fine. The sticker is not worth an extra $10.

Its just another tactic to confuse the ordinary guy off the street who is buying for his kids without much knowledge about these things. His kid says "I need an SD card for my Wii" - he sees 2 in the shop, one is generic, the other is more expensive but Wii branded.

So the memory cards for like the PS2 and such are really flash SD cards? I have an SD card for my camera and that damn thing is sooooo small. I dont see how this works.
