PNY Outs XLR8 GeForce RTX 3060 REVEL EPIC-X RGB Single Fan Edition Graphics Card

PNY today rolled out the XLR8 GeForce RTX 3060 REVEL EPIC-X RGB Single Fan Edition, its third custom-design RTX 3060 graphics card. This one is targeted at compact gaming desktop builds, and is just 17 cm long, 12.5 cm tall, and strictly 2 slots thick. The card uses a dense aluminium fin-stack heatsink that's ventilated by a single 100 mm fan. The cooler features an RGB LED-illuminated GeForce RTX logo along the top. The card pulls power from a single 8-pin PCIe power connector, which is sufficient for the 170 W typical board power for the card's NVIDIA-reference clock speeds of up to 1777 MHz GPU Boost, and 15 Gbps memory clock. Display outputs include three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1 connectors. The company is backing the cards with 3-year warranties. It didn't reveal pricing.

They are joking, i assume.

Good to see "compact" gpu's on new generation. Currently I'm in need of two new systems, but because of out of stocks and high prices I'm waiting for miracle to happen. Everyday it looks like I'll be able to get next gen cpu from amd and gpu amd or nvidia.

Doesn't look bad, though i wouldn't buy a single fan card with 170 W power consumption.

Gamers like to mine in their sleep, so the price is fine.

Make it even smaller so you can fit more mining rigs next to each other.

The negativity has nothing to do with the 3060, but the shortages of cards and high prices. Right now, it is cheaper to buy a prebuilt pc than to build a new pc yourself. A decent chunk of these pre-builders have contracts with different companies and don't have to worry about the price gouging. They will get it at their usual rate from buying in bulk where as, we, the consumer have to deal with the ridiculous prices.

Very true, son ordered a pre-built, added a 3070, upped the cpu, ram and case and still came in under $2200

I wouldn't call it negativity, just venting frustration.

If you were referring to my post it's called humour, I was pointing out the irony of the "green team" using the colours of the "red team" whereas it appears to now be an AMD card.

No, I was referring to all the brand-bashing trash-talking. It's pointless. Anyone joking around needs to let everyone know that by using the " j/k " designation. Otherwise there's no way to know. After all, forums are TEXT based.
