Based on a few early reviews, these look like they're worth getting as an alternative to bone-conduction headsets, or as a secondary headset option, where having a proper headset is unrealistic. Heck, at least two of the early reviews mention it's quite perfect for work and light exercise, and doesn't have the weird pressure feeling that regular earbuds have.

I'm tempted to try these, as the bone-conduction set I'm using is a bit tight for my head and also not super great on music quality (perfect for audiobooks though).

I own the WHXM3 and the WFXM4, so probably a good candidate to buy this, but i can't see why i would ever need this.
And it made me laugh my ass off listening to the video presention and they claiming crystal clear call quality. Only sony headphone users will understand this one

I will get a pair since I travel on public transportation which isn't safe, and I need to be aware of my surroundings while listening to music, podcast, or audiobooks.
Hopefully these will help.

you can do that with the WFXM4 i have, they don't just let the sound pass through, they actively inject the sound with microphones from the outside, even with them stuck inside the ear really good you can listen to the surroundings just like if you weren't wearing them.
With the bonus you get amazing noise canceling if you want to, you just have to switch modes, and the NC has a scale, it's not all or nothing.

So i really miss the appeal of this.

Hopefully these work well on a bike (wind noise). There are a lot of situations with bad roads and unpredictable traffic where it just isn't safe at all to wear in ears.

Wondering too, because airpod pros with memory foam tips are decent but far from perfect for me.
