MINISFORUM Launches Venus NPB5 Mini-PC Powered by Core i5-13500H

MINISFORUM has launched a new Mini PC today, the Venus series NPB5, featuring an Intel Core i5 processor. It is a very affordable mid-range office product. This compact mini PC is powered by an Intel Core i5-13500H processor with 18M Cache, and Max. Boost Clock up to 4.70 GHz. The i5-13500H processor is fully capable of handling office scenarios and coping with a general level of video editing without a problem.

Unlike previous models with DDR5-4800 frequency, the new NPB5 supports up to DDR5-5200 frequency with maximum support of up to 64 GB. The NPB5 has maintained one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD and one 2.5-inch SATA HDD slot to meet users' basic storage needs. In addition, the NPB5 comes with two Gigabit Ethernet ports that can achieve network aggregation to boost network performance. For wireless connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, which are now standard features for newly released models.
It has two HDMI (4K@60 Hz) and two USB4 (4K@60 Hz) ports that can simultaneously support up to 4 external displays, making it ideal for users with a multi-screen setup. The top of the case is designed to open easily by pressing, providing a tool-free DIY experience that is especially friendly to those purchasing a barebone for customization. With its compact size, it can be placed on a desk, bookshelf, or any limited space for a more convenient user experience in home, office, or entertainment settings.

If the price of their previous models ($350-450) are any indication, these will probably be in the $600 range... which I think is reasonable for a 13th gen machine with the listed specs....

Yes it is very clean & professional looking, like most of MF's other mini-me boxes, and it also has vents on the sides too, so cooling should not be a concern due the good amount of airflow...:D
