Halo 3 Themed Race Car Prepares for First Race

September 23rd will be a great day for racing and gaming fans alike. David Stremme's #40 Dodge Avenger recently got a Microsoft sponsored Halo 3 themed paint job. David Stremme can hardly wait for the Nextel Cup on September 23rd, where he gets to race his new car.
I'm honored and excited to be running the Halo 3 car at Dover and can't wait to show off this awesome paint scheme," said Stremme. "It's going to be a special experience when the car rolls off the truck for the first time at Dover -- as a Halo fan, I'm thrilled.
However, Master Chief's Dodge Avenger will be facing some stiff competition: Nintendo sponsored a Ford Fusion, which will also be racing at the Nextel Cup on the 23rd.

Ugh -- I thought the only people who watched NASCAR were shoeless Hillbillies in trailer parks. Do they even own XBox 360's?

Somebody please prove me wrong.

NASCAR isnt for hillbillies (a michigan farmer thank you very much) and hardly that many southern folks live in a trailer yet alone a trailer park. Get an education son.

Anywho, on to this car, who is gonna be driving this and when does it go live? Kind of hard to switch the car in with the race for the chase now going on.

EDIT: Please note, that while I may like a few of the drivers, in no way can I sit and watch a race on TV (never been in person) for 5 hours to watch them chase their tails.

When I'm flipping through HD channels, Nascar is almost always top-tier picture quality. So, when I watch Nascar, I'm not really watching it for the cars. I quickly get bored, however, because it makes me feel like I'm playing Gran Turismo.... yuck

BTW, if you've ever played Xbox Live, you'll know that there are quit a few hillbillys on there.

If the Wii beats Halo 3 there will be some serous nutkicking time:nutkick::nutkick::nutkick:

Oh and btw I don't think this article mentions it but Microsoft will after or before the race be showing Halo 3 to the Public for viewing or something like that read this article

Whats also not being mentioned is that this is sponsored by Target guys lol the same people who have apparently sided with Bu-ray or at least semi sided with it since they still sell the cheapest HD-DVD player out there for only $179:p:p
