Microsoft has announced the details of the free Xbox Live Arcade game that was promised by Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten in response to the service's recent online troubles. Coming as a compensation to all the frustration caused, Microsoft will offer Chair Entertainment's arcade shooter Undertow for free to all Xbox Live members from 2AM PST on Wedenesday, January 23 until 11:59PM PST on Sunday, January 27. Otherwise, Undertow is normally available worldwide for 800 Microsoft Points. Nice job Microsoft thats a good game to give away for free. Personally I was worried it was going to be a game that almost every single Xbox Live Arcade user plays like Uno for example.

Why they don't give us a 800 point credit?!?!? There is going to be people out there that don't like that game.. I, for one don't like the game.. played it on my friends system.

joinmeindeath417free is free you shouldn't complain about free..
Nope, I shouldn't... but other people should complain about other things and do so all so.. I'm just stating how I feel for it... the game. Am I glad that Microsoft did it. Yes. but I just feel it would be easier to give a credit... Make people more happier about it. IMO

It would be nice if companys like Sony were to do this for their Blu ray owners who will be affected by the 2.0 update. But I seriously doubt that they love their customers that much to do that.

I started it downloading just then. I wish there was a way that you could change the order that things were downloaded in, or pause one download and start the next or something. Coz I have a demo half done so I don't want to cancel but I have to wait till it finished on my 256kb/s ADSL before I can start getting Undertow.
