I'm using it in a VM now. Won't upgrade on my primary system until FF3 goes final. I like it quite a bit. It's real nice.

Here's a review: mozillalinks.org/wp/2008/05/firefox-3-rc-1-full-review/
ShadowFoldFirefox is a little slower than IE for me but its soo much better.
On what planet? I can run them side by side and IE7 is slower than Firefox. After a while, with enough tabs, IE7 can really slow things down too.
Musselsall my addons are compatible, although i dont use many. i was on beta 5, and the auto update took me to RC1.
Fasterfox doesn't seem to be compatible.

wanthomYes, but this extension doesn't work with FF3 RC1, I try load it thru Nightly Tester Tools extension, but it does´t work still... How I can use this perfect extension (Tab Mix Plus) with FF3 RC1?

Works like a charm for most extensions. Except some Bookmark extensions because Fx 3 uses a new bookmark engine afaik.

For the Fx 2 haters out there, try Fx 3, GUI response is much faster in Version 3.

The default theme for FF3 looks great IMO.

I actually like this one! Looks good, pretty fast, operates without crashes so far.

I did that speed boost thingy for my FF2, and it just made it worse, I mean, the pages load and out of a sudden it stops loading, and it was getting on my nerves actually. I deleted the old one first so I will have completely new settings when I install the FF3, and so far it's great!

And, if you don't feel like you need a boost in speed, don't do that speed boost thing.

I noticed that myself. Fasterfox doesn't work with FF3 RC1 but it's just as fast without it! I am quite pleased. No real need for speed "boosting" extensions or mods.

I don't even need it. FF3 RC1 is blazing fast for me. Pages render so fast it's not even funny.

Haha! No thanks.

It works? How do you know it's not FF3 just being blazing fast all on it's own? ;)

Thanx a ton for that... has made piclens, tab x & (as far as i can tell) fasterfox work!
(dont really care if its not really doing its job, but atleast i have the page load timer back...) the only addon i have now that does nothing is hyperwords... & that aint all that great anyway!!!!

(Edit: looks like hyperwords still works in the right click menu though.... only just noticed.)

Love firefox's open source. I get all my music through firefox. =)....well, I can do the same with opera, but opera sucks with transparency. Also, I find firefox to be more stable then IE7 in its own OS...Vista. I just wish my school didn't block downloads/use of firefox. I used to put it on a jump drive and rename the .exe, but my IT at my school fixed the fact you can just rename the .exe and have it work...jerk.

Anyways, can't wait to adopt this as my newest browser. I will wait for the beta phase to end as I had a problem with firefox 2 beta...it crashed my computer...=). Hopefully, I can still edit the way i view .mp3's....
