NZXT Tempest Gaming Chassis Now Shipping

NZXT's Tempest gaming chassis, originally launched toward the end of March, has finally managed to find its way to retail shelves and is now shipping. Starting today, Tempest will be available from Newegg.com and other e-tailers starting from $99. NZXT's latest advancement in gaming chassis includes support for the E-ATX standard (more space inside the case), pre-drilled holes for cable routing, bottom mounted PSU, and lastly support for a dual 120mm radiator at the top of the case (compatible with Swiftech MCR220, Asetek Dual radiator solution, and Thermaltake TMG2).
"Tempest boasts breakthrough features in every category, effectively satisfying the high performance demands of PC Enthusiasts and Gamers worldwide" said Johnny Hou, Chief Designer at NZXT. "By combining high performance cooling with advanced space and storage capabilities, the Tempest is destined to become the best enthusiast and gaming chassis in its class, a claim that has been confirmed by several award winning reviews in the enthusiast community."

I actually quite like that. Looks better than the Antec 900 and 1200 imo.

Antec rip-off but way better looking, sensible placement of fans, roomy.

The top has enough place to hold a radiator under it.

by the looks of it, yes...
(looking at the phiotos of the front fans with the blue LED lighting, you can make out the design of filters)

that NZXT Lexa is just plain crappy for airflow and management (kind of cramped) but Ill give you that is does look sexy. Every pc mag pretty much gave it crappy ratings <G>.

I love this case. Been waiting for awhile for it to come up.

I have the Tempest ordered and it should be in on Tuesday so if anyone has any questions feel free to hit me up..

Also those of you who commented on it being an Antec 900 rip off, well take a look at this site .. This site compares the 900 to the Tempest side by side..

It's about as close to an exact copy as one could get but a little bigger and more room between the bottom of the motherboard and the top of the power supply.. This is good for people like me who have a dual slot video card and a mother board that puts the lower card right on the bottom like my Asus P5E.. In my current case (Antec Sonata) I had to remove my 2nd 3870 due to the fact it's almost touching the bottom of the case and it was running at 62c at idle
