Oh, are the servers finally back up? :shadedshu

It just goes to show you -- whatever bandwidth you think you're going to need, multiply it by 10 and then reserve that amount. Either way, it's a great browser.

I honestly think pages load faster with 3 than 2 and 3 doesn't seem to use as much memory compared to 2. The only thing I do not like, yet kinda like, is if you click on links enough times it will start showing up in your address bar.

Actually, I think this is the first attempt ever for such a record so they can't really break it. :p It's more like they're just trying to set the bar high so that it will be hard to break later.

Anywho, if you want to grab the file so that it will be counted for the record, use one of the links listed on this page:
www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

Links for the three major operating systems plus a bunch of different languages are available there.

Yeah, I agree. Firefox technically is the better browser, but I use IE 7.0 most of the time, because if it's just web surfing, I really don't need anything more than quick launch time. That being said, when I do extensive web work and use multiple tabs, I use the Avant Browser, because it's the best in most areas.

So far I really like the new browser it's much faster than FF2. The look is nice and refreshing and the new features and trinkets are neat. Now I just have to wait for some of my extensions to become compatible.

Awesome, cant wait to grab it. Hopefully their minefield (64 bit browser) is alot better this time around. I hope the download I did click from the main news posting is for 64 bit.

It's finally official! I've been using it as my main for 3 months and it's really funny to hear people surprised at all the new features and themes for the first time. Most extensions that aren't compatible yet can be forced to run if you absolutely need them. At this point there really isn't an excuse to not have them compatible though.

I just wish I could get flash support in Minefield. Thats the only thing keeping me from using it.

I also dont like how I dont have to install Minefield. Same goes for the x64 version of TB.
