Ooh, these came out quicker than I anticipated. Gonna give em a go when I get home, see if they give me any boosts in performance. Looking forward to seeing what people can do with em, and I bet it wont be long until they are "patched" to work on LGA-775 Intel chipsets.

Not true, they scrapped the idea. We covered it a while back ;) It just uses software/bios
raptoriand it will make farcry2 run better as nvidia says

Thats because (according to expreview anyway), upcoming drivers will enable DX10.1 for farcry and the Nvidia 9 and GTX2xx series.

Do these boosts equal real-time performance in games? That's what matters.

So for us people with SLi motherboards - should I ditch the Big Bang II drivers for this?

I dont think anyone knows what the big bang 2 drivers really are. Some say SLi on the x58, some say multi-monitor support, and some its DX10.1.

Anyways, i dont think the new version will be less functional than the 180.10.

EDIT: Confirmed, these are the big bang2 drivers with the multimonitor support as well.

phanbueyOC THAT CARD FURTHER!!!! :toast: Try 730 1460 (both my cards run at this) and you will get 12+K.
Tried Ocing to 700 1200(ram) and it wasnt stable :(
plus I got no realy benefit in game, FTW speeds seem like a sweet spot for gaming/temps/noise, at least for me.

Here For Good!
The 180.xx series so far has increased my vantage score by 600 marks or so. This driver somehow lets me get 73c max when playing warhead, pre 180 drivers got me 84c in warhead! Multi-monitor setup is easier with this particular driver too, but I only get fan options for my 280gtx, they don't show for my 9800gtx, weird.

I get no options in Precision for my GTX260 with these or .10's...even at the stock 40% fan speed, my card seems to be running a couple degrees C cooler. I may mod my bios to get the fan speeds back up tho..I just prefer it that way. Maybe I'll see if re-installing precisions helps...but everything's running good atm...too busy gaming to mess with it! :D

Only problem with these drivers is no fan speed control.
