Dell Prepares 22-inch UltraSharp 2209WA LCD Monitor

In a week or two, Dell is supposed to ship a new UltraSharp 2209WA 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor. Dell Canada has already posted the full specs of the monitor here. It will eventually arrive with a 1680x1050 wide resolution, 300 nits of brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angles (that suggest a non-TN panel will be used) and a 5 ms response time. The 2209WA will also feature four USB 2.0 ports, one analog and one DVI-D (Digital) inputs.

This is what i like to see, Dell has always made good displays, but it looks like they have stepped up. First they advertise real contrast ratios, not dynamic, and they aren't using crappy TN panels, thats the sweetness. Maybe companies have finally figured it out. (minus Samsung)
