All models are expected to ship sometime in March and sell as starter kit for ¥19,800 (about $223), or with a 4GB Memory Stick and a 2200mAh battery for ¥24,800 (about $279). If DS is childish then PSP is garbage. Only about 1% of its games are actually worth playing. Its only "useful" use is that of a multimedia hardware, and with that, one would rather buy an iPod Touch or a Zune which would be a lot more useful at that. Specially since even the iPod Touch games are better that on the PlayStationGarbage.

Wow bright colors heh, well I'll stick with the black please, although the red and blue seems appealing to the eye. Why even bother I still have my slim and it's working. :D

About ds and psp debate here, well most of the games that came out for the DS I like, Zelda, super mario and especially mario kart. But I didn't buy a DS (don't have nebody to play with, all my friends have a psp.) And we have fun by playing monster hunter freedom 2 and tekken, thats all we play while waiting for DoW II for the pc.

Well it all goes down to preference, DS puts a different style of gaming with it's touch screen and dual screen setup. :D

zitheSony already has motion sensitive controls. It was available since release.
After the Wii's release. Also the "motion sensitive" controls the PS3 has is nowhere nears as advanced as the Wii. Sorry but no matter how you cut it the Wii is the only "Next-Gen" system there is. The rest are just over priced sub-par computers.

So you guys like to make your rigs different colors and mod them... Which btw adds no hardware additions btw. I mean...come on, this is actually a pretty good thing. No one complained when they released the red God of War PSP and no one complained when they released the blue madden PSP. Or even the silver Ratchet and Clank PSP...

The games are actually really good too... God of War and Madden are good, plenty of RPGs, stealth action games, and lots of good games on the horizon including Resistance 2 and Patapon 2.

So slightly advanced motion controls define whether a console is next gen or not? Hardware doesn't matter.

You make me laugh

Slightly advanced? There isn't anything on the market that can rival the Wii in its controls and their interaction with its games. The 360 and PS3 are exactly like every other system before them. They bring nothing new. NOTHING. Just refinement over the last generation. There is nothing "Next-Gen" about them. The sad part is they are more like PCs than ever and yet cant render half as well.

As for the PS3 having "motion sensitive" controls a week after the Wii. I wouldn't classify them the same as the Wii would you? I mean honestly.

I found them both difficult to work with. Both platforms are loaded with games made just to take advantage of the motion sensing gimmick. The Wii does have some decent games that use the motion sensitive controls (some of the party games which are no fun by yourself) but the controller really gets in the way for some other games. (Super Smash brothers, one of my favorite games of all time)

My family bought a PS3 because of blu ray (something Wii doesn't have) and games. No level of argument really changes anyone else' mind.
We don't game on it much anymore since we upgraded our PCs, making us one of the few people who actually own a PS3 to use as a blu ray player, but that's irrelevant.

So in your opinion, the only thing that makes a console next gen is that the console has advanced motion controls? It doesn't matter that the hardware in the console is pretty much equivalent to the gamecube. It doesn't matter that there is no DVD player, or Blu-Ray for that matter. It doesn't matter that the internet community, and online multiplayer suffers extremely.

I mean, you can't just say there is only one Next Gen console on the market, because each console has advantages over the other..
