The AMD C-70 is a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in September 2012. It is part of the C lineup, using the Ontario architecture with Socket FT1. C-70 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1000 MHz by default, but can boost up to 1333 MHz, depending on the workload. AMD is building the C-70 on a 40 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on C-70, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 9 W, the C-70 consumes extremely little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a single-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 6290 integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the C-70, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
