The Intel Atom E620 was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in September 2010. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Tunnel Creek architecture with BGA 676. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 2 threads. Atom E620 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 600 MHz. Intel is building the Atom E620 on a 45 nm production process using 47 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom E620, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 3 W, the Atom E620 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR2 memory. This processor features the GMA 600 integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability. Hardware virtualization is available on the Atom E620, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
