The Intel Pentium 4 2.0 was a desktop processor with 1 core, launched in January 2001. It is part of the Pentium 4 lineup, using the Northwood architecture with Socket 478. Pentium 4 2.0 has 512 KB of L2 cache and operates at 2000 MHz. Intel is building the Pentium 4 2.0 on a 130 nm production process using 55 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium 4 2.0, which limits its overclocking capabilities.
With a TDP of 110 W, the Pentium 4 2.0 consumes a lot of power, so good cooling is definitely needed. Intel's processor supports DDR1 and DDR2 memory. Although the processor doesn't come with integrated graphics, certain motherboards with compatible chipsets can provide this capability.
