The AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-85 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in September 2008. It is part of the Turion X2 Ultra lineup, using the Griffin architecture with Socket S1. Turion X2 Ultra ZM-85 has 2 MB of L2 cache and operates at 2.3 GHz. AMD is building the Turion X2 Ultra ZM-85 on a 65 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Turion X2 Ultra ZM-85, which limits its overclocking capabilities.
With a TDP of 35 W, the Turion X2 Ultra ZM-85 consumes only little energy.
The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability. Hardware virtualization is available on the Turion X2 Ultra ZM-85, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
