The AMD E-300 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in August 2011. It is part of the E lineup, using the Zacate architecture with Socket FT1. E-300 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1300 MHz. AMD is making the E-300 on a 40 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on E-300, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 18 W, the E-300 consumes very little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a single-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 6310 integrated graphics solution.
Hardware virtualization is available on the E-300, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
