I have been looking for a Q9450 or Q9550 chip to replace my Q6600. So, I am interested in this chip. Let me check my finances and I will post again tomorrow. Also would you consider a partial trade and cash or is this a cash only deal.

Not to thread crap but I noticed the Antec 1200 has been released. Full tower case, all black with cable management options. Right now its $164 with free 3 day. With the promo code given on the page you can get it for 134. Im trying like hell to come up with the scratch to buy it.

fit your old one went to Karaktu, I'm sure you've seen him around, he's the crazy guy with the highest heat (not kidding, he's number 1)

Almost to 2k

and btw CrashNburnXP, make sure you check via CoreTemp when you have the cpu voltage set to auto in the BIOS otherwise it likely won't be the VID

WTF!? That is seriously a lot of feedback.

That VID is with 1.4v (havent really checked how low i can get it yet) at 3.8GHz rock solid stable.

yep, just saying the VID reading can skew quite significantly when you adjust the voltage
the whole point of the VID is to indicate what voltage intel has designated for that cpu to run at it's specified settings, and therefore the voltage the motherboard automatically sets the cpu to when left on auto
