You need to check your facts better. A guy called George Romney ran for the republican presidential ticket in 1968, and he was born in Mexico. How would he have ran if he wasn't considered "natural-born?"

I can't find any references to this 1971 law you speak of -- only thing I could find was a 1790 law which stated that:

"And the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond sea, or outside the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens."

Don't forget that when you "correct" a market it can take up to 3-4 years to notice the effects. I think that whoever makes president is going to have a hard time to clean up and i doubt they'll succeed. Maybe at the end of the term we'll see what the true effect of the Bush bailout plan had on the economics market in the USA and the world.

Changes based on foreign investments and the commodities market is much more volatile lately. Meaning that the US economy can recover faster than any other market in the world if the right things are put into play. I am optimistic but I am not expecting miracles either way. An economic solution is easily found with ending our war in Iraq and with that many soldiers you could accomplish the Afgan war in a month easily.

We are all Americans(except illegals), and we deserve the respect that comes with it. If anything a fake America would be Alaska. We bought it from the reds.

Then, poached a moose while on duty and in uniform with his service revolver and committed several confirmed ethics violations as a police officer, um let me think about that a second, NO!!!!!! have you ever been tazed (as a part of training) I have and if anyone ever used that on a child as discipline they should be fired and anyone who covers for them should be aswell. Unless of course it was to save a life or to prevent serious physical harm in the line of duty and that was not the case here.

I just find the accusations silly unless it comes from a reputable source. Could you link where you read it please?

It totally immobilizes you but the person using it on you can strike you and has you at their mercy unless they touch the wires. It can be used on you for up to 45 minutes straight before the battery runs out.

what abuse of power unless the chief was covered under civil service (he isn't) then hes appointed and can be fired for farting if the Mayor or Governor in this case wants him gone. Just like when Clinton came into office and fired several US attorney generals and the same thing when Bush came into office and did it aswell (he got all kinds of flack but Clinton didn't gee wonder why that is) they are appointed and can be fired at will with no recourse. It is part of being able to appoint someone and with that power right or wrong comes the ability to fire at will. Example county sheriffs fire entire command staffs when they come into office for no reason but they want their people supporting them. Happens all the time and is totally legal.

You can't tax and spend your way out of recession, but Obama thinks he's different so he can.

How many times have you repeated the exact same thing? He won't have to fire all those people, and won't if the services are valuable to him. And yes, poor people given money can indeed create jobs. Many wealthy were poor once and given an opportunity (not to mention jobs created in retail and service now that the poor have more money). As WhiteLotus pointed out, GDP goes up. And tax on the wealthy is not solely intended on saving the economy.

It's like no other issue exists in your mind other than your money is absolutely yours and everyone should own a gun. You keep scouting out new people to bring your message of "down with socialism" to.
