Driving simulator

Ok so my mum can't drive because she gets too nervous so she asked if there was a way to get the computer to run a driving simulator so naturally I said what bout test drive unlimited but beyond that I couldn't think of any driving simulators that weren't about racing. I was going to get a racing wheel with a clutch and gears that was no problem and a trackIR so you can look around and eventually add more screens but first I need the simulator does anyone know of any ?

3D Fahrschule 4.1.2 Europa Edition, dunno if it is available in english, nor if it supports a wheel... but it is a drivers ed simulator alright

The Driver games have pretty realistic driving/police models. The police get cranky if you speed, are on the wrong side of the road, run red lights, or fail to signal. I think the original Driver would be the best for this as you're always in the car. It is available on PC.

I think need for speed carbon would be good for driving around but it doesnt have indicators but thats something I could deal with.

BMW M3 Challenge? Utilizes everything, is free, and you can have her just run tracks by herself at her own pace.

Those simulators can be quite effective sales tools. I bought a Porsche shortly after the fun I had with NFS Porsche Unleashed.

Long time ago though. Moved on now.
