Sapphire 4870 but not the toxic version because Sapphire gpu cooling is far better then MSI and HIS.... well at least a little better.

I think he means go for the Toxic version. Really I would too, it's shown to be a great cooler/design.

I would say go for the sapphire toxic. You can probably get a better overclock on it and it will cool better

Ive heard the Sapphire Toxic would be very loud. Is the card louder than hm like a 3870X2? Beacuse a friend has one and I think if it would be as loud as a 3870X2 it still would be alright.

Any 1g is good.

+1, I think your best option (if you can afford it) is the cheapest 1GB version and an acrtic cooling accelero S1.

I have the MSI one, and it runs warm. At 40% fan speed it idles at 51C. I would go with the Sapphire toxic, since they have the non-reference cooler and are very good. Also, Sapphire has good customer service.

What about the Gainward HD4870 1g? I dont really need 1g but you can control the fans then and you have to pay only like 10 euros more.
Are there any known problems this card could make ?

Guys what do you think of a PowerColor 1gbit + Scythe Musashi?
The price would be alright, the temperature and the loudness too and I still could overclock a bit.

Do you need 1 GB? Probably not.

And what's the point of the Musashi? The Powercolor fan is more than capable. Try the OC first and replace the cooler only if you must.
