Co op is fun. Me and my dad beat it last night and got to round 9 on nazi zombies before they killed us :laugh:

Its terribly short but its really fun.

This or Fall Out 3

Just curious which one of these two games you guy's would recommend over the other.
Just got Far Cry 2 and almost done with the first world.I have Cyrsis , but waiting for my
new card to start up on it again. The 9600 GT just doesn't handle it well.
I'm going 4870 HD 1 Gig so it should run better.

Meh.. Farcry 2 and WaW both are pretty mediocre but WaW is better imo. I personally loath farcry 2 tho.. Anyone able to make an online account yet? I cant seem to make a profile, keeps asking me for a name..

I have made an account on FC 2. The multiplayer is no cod4 , but it is OK.
So Shadow do you own Fallout 3 ? What are your thoughts if you do ?
Maybe I'll just get w@w. I really enjoyed and still enjoy cod 4.

What is what exactly?

COOP is the same as the single player storyline, but with multiple people/players.

The zombie coop is just a wattered down shoot-em-all fest (you might as well play Left 4 Dead..) and they prey on that old myth misconception that the Nazis were involved with the occult and other 'experiments,' hence the zombies. ;rolls eyes;

As for the game itself, it's 95% COD4, with different weapons. It's extremely linear, extremely arcadish and extremely ;yawn; after enough months of COD4.

About the only really good thing is that now hosts have more options, such as disabling perks altogether. Man..what a Godsend. Imagine that, smart developers?

Ok, it comes out tomorrow, there servers are locked so you cant make a online account. Just like this morning I could log in to the beta because they shut down the beta. Try it tomorrow.

Is anyone else... really disapointed with the game? I find the controls so god damned irritating i can barely play the thing.

Why is it when i hit shift i slow to a walk, but i have to press caps lock to run again? why cant i just press shift? where is the option for that to be a press/release, instead of a toggle?

my controls were screwed up, had to reset defaults.

The online profiles dont work yet, the servers at the other end arent online.

P.S - on one of my systems (not both!) i crash when playing coop (immediately, level doesnt load)
They were both installed off the same disk, and both have updated directX/drivers - anyone got any clues? MP and SP work, just not coop.

I've played the MP Beta on 360 and i really enjoyed it despite it being on a console so im looking forward to getting a system to play it on then play the game through!!

But with the whole ranking system for MP and what looks like a really meaty SP its a bigger badder nicer looking more intense COD, from what i've played it could be the best so far,

cod 2 with the bullet penetration of cod4, very linear level design (and it doesnt like you walking to the edges... i've gotten stuck on tiny branches a million times in hte first 10 minutes).

The only saving grace, will be the MP (cant play yet, cant make online accounts) and coop, which i'm testing tomorrow.

Ya if the multiplayer is good, I'd be pretty happy with that. The zombies sound 1337, but i just bought L4D, so I minus well play that. Linear level design is not my thing, I really hate it, and after fallout 3 I can never go back.

i'm all cool with a 'guided' design - smaller open areas, with just the one doorway/path to the next area... but this has me on a 2 meter wide trail, and you cant step off it. its annoying me to no end.

Whats left 4 dead like? i might return this, and get L4D
