hey there
as u can see im new to tech power up forums hey all

i bought a msi r4850 after reading techpower up's review on it but basically got it with an aftermarket cooler on it and its donig a good job pretty quiet as well if ne one is interested in knowing.. (v151 quad pipe cooler)

now for my question. story is i installed catalyst 8.10 where it reads that the memclock is 993 MHz no dramas thats what it should be, however gpu-z 2.8 is saying 990.6 mhz in the sensors tab
furthermore, on the graphic card tab of gpu-z the gpu clock/default clock both say mem is running at 993mhz

i'd love to hear ur opinion on this. is this normal? if not do i need to do something to make it run at 993mhz normally or is this something i need to take up with MSI

neway i know im new but i hope this thread isn't ignored xD

cheers

GPU-Z is more accurate, cocks never hold perfectly still either.

i see thanks for the insight.
So i should assume this is nothing to fuss over.

Ya, I wouldn't worry about 3mhz... If it was 100-300 that's another story.
