i got my quad in a p5n-e sli board now, which refuses to oc it any. i've tried and tried to overclock, but it just wont get stable in the 650i chipset board.
looking to see if there is any intrest in trading for a e8xxx series chip.
i've gotten the q6600 up to 4.0 under water and ran it @ 3.6 24/7 under a tuniq tower. that was in a maximus formula flashed to a rampage. and also in a abit ip35-e board. for some reason in the maximus it always needed more vcore to run stabil. but in the abit board it ran 3.6 with 1.42volts vcore.
this screen cap is in the maximus.

if you look in the task bar you see the temps, it always ran cool for me.
