I'm looking at either the Microsoft Habu or the Razer Diamondback, how different is the Diamondback in terms of shape since I found the habu to be very comfortable?
Headset wise I'm looking at the Plantronics Gamecom 367 or the Sennheiser PC151 headset
I don't really like logitech since the last two headsets I've had were logitech and their sound quality has been pretty awful, this combined with the complete lack of durability (One of the earpieces in my current headset died randomly and the other one fell off and refused to reattach) has put me off logitech.
I was looking at the Saitek Eclipse II or something in that sort of price range.
I'm only willing to pay up to £30 for any of the peripherals.
Links would make me happy, thanks in advance.

Bump I'm looking at the Steelsound 4H headset and Razer Diamondback 3G mouse in my basket on scan and they seem very inviting, anyone have any idea how good these are, they both seem to have got good reviews here on TPU but I'd just like to make sure before parting with my cash, cheers.

I'm leaving the keyboard for the moment, once I get a proper desk/ chair set-up (garden chair and a table in-use atm, doesn't work great for typing), can't really decide whether or not it's that the keyboard's crap or just the arrangement being full of fail. Thanks for the advice I've gone for the 4H and diamondback

I might just get them from OCUK instead since scan's being gay and not sending me the registration e-mail, stupid website, similar price too so it makes no difference really.

I'll deal with it in the morning, can't be bothered with registering to buy a mouse at this time of night. I had no problems with OCUK with my RAM for my new rig, only complaint is it's got red LEDs on which freaked me out when I came into the office and there were no lights on lol.

Wish I could comment on the headset but the good ones are very expensive. I see the Creative Fatal1ty headset is about the top of the line. Linky:

I like the G15 and the Saitek Eclipse, many peeps say the v2 is better than the v1 but both are killer. Anyone know about the M$ Habu.

Lol, either way it's gonna be a hell of a step up from a logitech LX3 although it's also twice the price.

Well the Deathadder is awesome! Make sure if you get that you update the firmware and drivers, or you will destroy it if you don't use it right, its the stock drivers that is making it, so dont worry.

Meh, I go to the manufacturer's website automatically anyway, too lazy to find disk and put it in drive lol.
I can get the eclipse II for £28 in a local shop and I'm not really sure how much use I'd find for the screen so yeah, looks like the eclipse is the keyboard of choice if the keyboard proves to be the problem.

Well, that is the better choice. I am on my 2nd deathadder, because I had it installed and I came back from a LAN and I was hooking up my pc and I put it in the wrong USB port that it wasnt in before, so it didn't recognize the mouse. And when I was trying to fix it, it died.

This might be going between my lappy and the desktop so there shouldn't be any problems with that right? I tend to use the same USB for each thing to the point that I almost put my rig at the other end of the desk just so my headset cables were going to the left (I'm a bit crazy about that kind'a thing and I'm used to it being on the left for my laptop, my configuration is always the same as far as mouse/ headset is concerned)

No it shouldn't, see my problem was I installed it on USB port 1 on the back, and put it in port 3, and it didn't recognize it. But now with the new drivers it doesn't do that.

Oh right, that'll be ok then. Benifiting from laziness FTW. (Couldn't be arsed to go and find box for graphics card so I just downloaded the driver off the site, although my dad won't like that since it got me folding.)

Dont know about the Habu, but I own bother Copperhead and the diamondback (using diamondback right now infact). Very comfortable, good gui in winblows. Also have the Lycosa (I´ll show pics later on today.. still installing windgoes on system). Very nice mice...

As for headset.. Plantronics is ok, but believe me if I say Sennheiser is better? It is in many ways, clear sound..good bass etc. However, Im using an AKG K44 headphone just because they are almost same in sound. Nothing beats the true makers of audio equiptment (Sennheiser, Pioneer, AKG etc.etc.). Plantronics? Sure, had it on a MS product years ago. Very good allround quality.

I think the best, is to test them all for yourself if possible. Because I can say this and that, and you go buy and regret it.. So best advice for all of the products? Test them.
