T fitting or reservoirs?

Will you take a performance hit if you have a t fitting instead of just a reservoir?

What are the pros and cons? And how does it work?

from what i remember of old testing a T-line is actually slightly better than a res, like .1* lol

i've always used and prefer T-line's.....

there will be no loss of performance by using a T-line vs res

I have had more trouble getting bubbles out of the line with T-lines. So I asked him what pump because of possible cavitation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavitation#Suction_cavitation

Bubbles caused a problem with Mag 3 pumps. It breaks them down over time.

You could say with the t fitting, water cycles faster through the rad.

this is a moot point and has been discussed/reviewed by the watercooling "guru's"

all thing's are equal in a closed loop.

nice deal for the part's! i "bleed" my loop for a few hrs, by bleeding i mean letting the loop cycle itself while topping up.

Funny story about that... Let's just say Corsair originally bought them on accident...

Well the T fitting think of that t upsidown sits inline with the flow of water.

So the part that is horizontal allows the water to flow freely through it, like a pipe, and the bit that is vertical has a length of tubing attached that acts in a similar sense to a reservoir in that as bubbles work their way into the T fitting there is water in the T-line to replace that lost volume.

think of the T as having 2 "in's" and one "out" you will have one "in" coming from the output of the RAD and the other "in" will act as your "res" just place a piece of tube over the T to add storage capacity the "out" will of course go to the pump.....
