Hey guys, I'm a bit worried because I found out that my PSU is from Deer. I'm worried because the consensus all over the internet is that they are utter sh*t, and have a very high rate of failure, and they like to take other components with them as well when they die. (CPU, Mobo, etc)
Can't believe I'm running my 2 month-old PC on a piece of crap like this! But maybe I have one of the good ones? Or maybe i've just been lucky my PC hasn't pushed it real hard yet?
Well, my current 8600gt is powered through the PCI-E slot... so maybe that plays a role as well. Just looking for input. Maybe I got one the "good" Deer PSUs? lol
I really had no idea, because even though I like to keep myself well informed about hardware, I really never paid much attention to PSUs.
I'm looking for suggestions for a new PSU, preferably a cheap, around 50 Euros, which must be around 50$, more or less; (by my standards it's already kinda expensive but I know you guys favour the PSU above almost anything else, so what's expensive to me, is dirt cheap to you, so please bear with that.) and reliable PSU.
My specs are on the left, but as you can see, i'm planning on upgrading to a new GPU, so take that into account and try to keep it as close as possible to 50-60.
Just point me in the best direction within the budget
Cheers!
