My favorite game of all time..
and it's not for the pc.. again..

I haven't been to happy with the final fantasy games in a while though.
they seem to have lost their way from way back in the day.

at the end of that CS..
that might just be Cloud Strife though.
looks like his bike..
maybe he's older.

but the main character looks like a chick..
and I hate playing chicks..
i like playing games and being a guy.
not a little pretty, frilly clothes wearing, girly girl.

Maybe it's not..
regardless.. I want it and I can't have it because I won't get a crappy ps3... :banghead:

I was a huge fan of final fantasy for a while. I don't think they really hit off until 8. Then it all stopped at X2. That was an ok game. FFXI was crap (bad inflation, horrible community, and dependence on people you never find) and FFXII was ok.

Something's different about the way XIII looks. I hope it's as good as X. (X was incredible, imho. Too short)

yep.. I played FF online for 2 years..
Had killed the majority of gods..
and still have a multi 75 character sitting somewhere with dam near full god gear.lol..
not to mention fully merrited..
but yea.. the community sucked.. big time..
they were so selfish and in general juvenile.

I find left for dead has the best community I have found so far.
and I've tried a lot of communities.

final fantasy.. sucks..
crysis.. sucks..
arma..sucks..
supreme commander..sucks..
age of empires.. sucks..
bf2142.. sucks..

pretty much every fps game community sucks.
except for L4D..

the fact that I can play games with my friends only is a huge bonus.
I never end up playing with morons.
and If i do..
I just vote and get them kicked..
problem solved.

My first final fantasy, was actuley final adventure for the gameboy, and damn i loved it so much, then i saw FF VII in the shops, and thought wow! theres 7 more of these? so i went home and couldn't wait to play it, but it was nothing like adventure, and i thought it was really weird how you fought, but after playing for around 30 minutes i was hooked, and loved the game so damn much.

I then went back and played 1-6 (6 is my favourite btw, followed by 7) then i played 8 and 9 which i also loved, i played & enjoyed 10 but not as much as the others, X-2 was a pile of shit. then i saw XI and i didn't even try it, was into wow back then, and knew it couldn't compare. I played XII and also thought it was rubbish, story didn't interest me, main character had no influence, and the combat was boring and untactical.

So i'm not really hyped for this one, even being the HUGE FF fan i am. being the main character is a girl, it just don't really interest me, i prefer manly characters, with a strong personality, to be the leading character, but i really hope it turns out good, i'll defintley be buying it, i just hope they make the storyline better in this one and less cheesy!!

I agree they went to crap..
started off better..
but VIII and X were fun..
X-2 was horrible.
XI online was tedious but colorful.
Had a lot of content and a huge community.
just to many kids.

XII fell very short.
I was extremely disappointed at XII.
everything from start to finish in that game was a letdown.

I still have 8 and 9 for the ps1.
I went to idk how many places and found them..
a lot of places even thought they had what I wanted then I'd open the box and the wrong CD's were inside..
like i wanted 8 and the cd's for 9 were in there.
The majority of every one I did find was so badly scratched you couldnt see any of the cutscenes..
I hand buffed each cd for hours until they were playable.
and when I got to the CS's they all worked..
it was a very nice blast from the past..
unfortunately I don't have a ps1 anymore.

But I hope some kind of crack or something can be made..lol..
I want to play this bad..

Why are you crying that it's on just the PS3... It's also on the Xbox 360. They are going to be doing more with the 360 then the PS3 because of what the old President of PS3 did...

As for the girl. They asked character designer Tetsuya Nomura to create a female version of Cloud. Her name will be Lightening. Then, for the guy on the bike. His name is Snow, and He rides the transforming bike Shiva. Yes, Shiva turns into a bike... :roll:

As for the game, I can't wait for it to come out. I all ready have it pre-ordered via Gamestop.

Yes i know its old news about the main character being a girl, but creating a female version of cloud? imo that doesn't go, maybe it's just me but seeing a girl trying to be a cool main character, it just doesn't work, they need to be like the girl with green hair from VI (so long since i played it, i always name her jade :laugh:

) or tifa.

I loved final fantasy x I want to play it but none of them are for pc it sucks the new one is coming out on 360 and ps3 which is lame I hate xbox they are crap and all they do is break my ps3 though I love it even though it just broke too

It's bad enough they tried to be PC by using a chick, that or they've just finally accepted they are fresh out of new ideas; however tails and pointy ears are a sure-fire sign of cheesy anime.

I don't know why you ever had hopes of a PC release anyway. I was actually mildly surprised that it was coming out for the 360 as well, which is a major blow to the PS3. Had it been a PS3 exclusive like a bunch of people figured years back...well, its another reason to get a PS3. As for a PS3 release, Final Fantasys were never PC games. They occasionally rereleased some older versions, I think I have 7 and 8 for PC. And XI of course, but that's a MMO so they wanted to reach out to PC gamers.

I'll be buying it. Seeing as I beat EVERY FF game like 3 times each (Except XI which was awful...). I beat VII the most with about 12 play-throughs.
