techpowerup case mod competitions?

Does techpowerup have anything like this? i tried looking to no avail. I no it has an option to rate your case but nowhere to enter for competions, there could be loads of categorys and a ameture and pro section for each. Some amusing categorys like wiedest case or i dont no worst kept case or something just an idea that i thought would be quite fun if it aint allready done, if it is post me a link!!

Definetly a nice idea, but the prizes have to come from somewhere. We always post news of big competitions from manufacturer's and the like, though.

I have been bugging other sites for quite a while now to make contests into tiers (ugliest,cheapest,beginner,advanced) so a noob dosent feel they need to compete with someone that has tons of experience or money.

One other option that would be sweet would be to pit forums against each other. It would be cool to try to get people to work together (some do painting, graphics, some do cutting,some help with design etc.)
(I vote for me being a judge)

nice idea. we had already discussed about this somwhere else, if i remember correctly. could be the Bad Boys of Case Modding Clubhouse? i really cant recall it.

To tell you the truth, I wouldn't really care about a prize too much, just going up against other modders & winning would be enough for me, but maybe we could have a few donations for the contest, I would donate something, MK offered to be a judge, I would also offer being a judge, Maybe we could ask CD if he would also like to judge, I'm sure we would have to ask TPU if we could do this,, but if we all get together on this,, I think it would be an awesome contest. I'm game if anyone else is.

I am officially "LEGO bouwmeester", (bouwmeester means architect). I have the paper to prove this. For some reason I never added to my curriculum though, I should.

I won a big box of LEGO along with it, good times.

As for a case modding contest, since everyone votes 10/10 whenever someone adds a LED we can't trust readers to rate. Would need a different system.

I like this idea a lot. The system should have a before and after shot. Time frame of say a month, and be judged by Mk and Cyber based on what the case was, and is now.

Also, i would like to see more competitions on TPU in general, hell even it is just for a fancy TPU "you're awesome" avatar. it may generate morew traffic.

well there would be things we'd need to think about like for the amatures and pros have a different section for each so the ametures have a chance, there dnt need to be just your amazingly good cases we could have catergorys for the best project logs or the worst case or strangest case and as for prizes something that goes in the box on the left with your pic in and the stars etc a little logo some1 designs to say that your case won what ever competition, i wasnt really thinking of this being a prose winning comp just a bit of a laugh you no

I think we should have TPU's pro casemodders such as MKmods, Cyberdruid, Steelkane, and various others to be the judges of the cases? If their up to it that is.

As for who beats up who? I'm clueless but I'm usually a spectator when it comes to that.

Having the pro's judge instead of join, if there are enough others to join that could work. If they want to anyway.

Well we would have to set Classes: amateur, advanced, pro,(or something along those lines)
Then a theme,time frame, rules, things of that such.
