hey guys just i upgraded my pc and i am confused to select a PCI-E gfx card
my pc configuration ..
INTEL PENTIUM D 2.66GHZ (DUAL CORE)
GIGABYTE G31M-S2L MOTHERBOARD
2 X 2GB DDR2 800 TRANSCEND RAM
250GB + 160GB HDD
IBALL 400W PSU

PLEASE suggest a gfx card with in $120

i refer to go to Nvidia 9500GT

For $120 I would go with an Ati Radeon 4830. Can't beat it for the price.

+1 Best card for the price. Its running circles around the 9500gt.

thanks friends for your quick reply but which manufacturer is best...(sapphire or visiontek)
and also mention the memory ofit(512mb or 1gb)

some of my friends say that Nvidia is better for gaming than Ati is it true:laugh:

Go with the cheapest one, if they are at the same price look for the one with the best cooler.
IMO Ati and Nvidia are roughly equal, but Ati have very nice offers in the lower price ranges.

recently i was using a ATI Radeon 9550 for my old pc just i upgraded my pc yesterday.......

yeah if you are only playing some older games. Thats not going to help you with fps. Like others suggested try to get a 4830 or atleast 9600GT.
