Hey!

What would you guys consider to be the best overall 1920x1200 monitor? I'm thinking of getting something 24" or more for somewhere under $350.

Cannot have a glossy screen, and preferably not a glossy bezel, but I can live with that...

Which monitor has the best colors, response time, etc. at that price point?

Needs to be sold by a major retailer (Newegg, Amazon, Dell, etc.).

Thanks!

For 24'' i would look at the Samsungs. Especially this one Samsung TFT Monitor 2494HM 24", DVI, HDMI, USB Hub.

Would be a little stupid to upgrade my resolution when my current card can barely play Crysis on low settings @ 1680x1050...

Now tell me what monitor to waste my cash on.

I've seen that monitor advised from lots of different people although personally I think it should get a "fugly award."

I have 2 asus monitors and i love them, but what is with that white corner, you look at one picture and it's on the right and then another and it's on the left, must be a sticker, huh?

I have a pair of Samsung 245T's which I really like. I use them for everything from general business APPS. top Photoshop to gaming.
What I am looking for now however is a 24" 120 Hz monitor. The largest 120 Hz I can find (not a TV but a real monitor) is 22".

your going to have to go to some stores and look at them for yourself, bear in mind Companies do tend to adjust all the settings to make one stand out over the other, thats why you request them to all be set to defaults.

dell is fairly overpriced in the LCD market. Go with ACER. I have a DCLCD from acer, took it to iraq and back, been very rough with it, and still doesnt have a scratch, smudge, etc...
play games like counterstike and Guitar Hero on expert, so the ms response is amazing.

Well, you should try looking at LCD TV ratings. The expert reviews can help you determine which one is best. The pros and cons will make sure that you're getting the best value for the budget. Good luck.

I vote for Dell 2408. A little more than your price range but you get different connections and the multicard reader built in. Best overall in term of price, performance, and functionality.
