What web browser do you use and why?

I currently use Chrome, it's fast efficient and stable, i've never had it crash once and also it solves the poblem of memory leaks which happened far too often with other browsers i used to use.

I used to use chrome however it will not work for me on this build of windows 7 for some unknown reason.

Currently using IE8 and its brilliant. That said, Chrome is in a league of its own.

I've heard of problems with windows 7 (64bit) and chrome. I think there might be some fixes if you google.

Yeah, it loads up fine after install it just cannot connect to any web pages, which is a huge shame. Used it as my main browser when I was on vista, its really good.

I've used Maxthon, several years ago. Didn't really like it as much as Avant.

How does this IE7Pro plugin benefit IE8 ASRock?

surprise you haven't heard of it? anyways, it gives IE8 the spellchecker that FireFox has and plus other useful features. you should try it out. the Admin. plans to rename the App. IE8Pro but hassn't updated it or put out any Beta Builds yet.

Why isn't Chrome in the poll? I use that sometimes b/c of it's layout, but Firefox is still my browser of choice with it's immense and wonderful library of customization.

I forgot to put it in. I use chrome too and when trying to think of the different browsers i left it out for some reason unknown to me. I've pm'd a mod to see if it can be added.

Download the beta chrome and it works in 7.

I use Chrome as I find its simple user interface very attractive and convenient. I really like the soft transitions chrome has. (aslo chrome starts up several milliseconds faster than firefox :rockout:

It might not work on firefox 64bit, should work on 32-bit.
I think he was referring to just his computer, not in general.

No I had that same problem on 7 64-bit. Installed the beta and it's smooth as silk.

Google Chrome beta for browsing, Firefox for secure pages (banking, etc.), and MSIE 8 for some tasks on TPU (that aren't compatible with any other browser).
